Meanwhile in Region C, we are discussing Woodson's and Justice's chances of making states.

Robo and West Po

No. Woodson & Robo

Woodson and Robo are on the same side of the bracket. West Potomac is on the other end. They meet in the region semi’s. I guess one team isn’t going to state this year.

So that district semi loss really screwed woodson

Yes - will have to get though Robo to get to states.

Which is totally doable. I mean, WP almost beat Robo last night.

Yep! Woodson, Robo and WP are all playing at the same level.

True, Woodson just smashed John R Lewis. Convincing win.

Woodson better hope they don’t play Lake Braddock again.

Lake Braddock has been out since first round of districts lol...

I would put current making states odds in Region C as:

Robo - 95%
West Po - 65%
Justice - 25%
West Spring - 10%
Woodson - 5%

Who would take the 6A field vs Yorktown for the state title. Looks like YT would need to beat Tilly, Oakton, Madison, West Po, Cosby/DR, Mad/BF...

I didn’t see the game so I’m not sure what happened but saying a high schooler fouled with intent to injure that player is a horrible rumor to start. Also keep in mind that it was raining yesterday so just because it looked weird could’ve been caused by a stick slipping or not having balance footing on the turf.
Either way it wasn’t shocking to me Madison coach didn’t win COY award

First player checked low from behind. Second player check high from the front.

The initial response on this board from a madison parent, wasn't a denial, but rather a shift of blame.

For anyone that was there. What point in the game was in the incident?

Around half of the fourth quarter left I believe.

Refs needed to call the game more consistent to prevent unnecessary back-checks. They called the play they wanted to see almost every time for both teams.

Let’s remember the kids read this forum, it was no one’s fault and you don’t want anyone feeling like they are the reason for someone’s season ending, it was just how she stepped and some unintentional contact which made her go down. hope for a fast recovery for her. let’s move on.

That's what I saw. Three officials and no yellow card, right.

Playoff games have 3 refs. You may not agree, but they did their job.
