They may have to dump that “Spanish style” and tango to see kids join.

Tell all your friends, if you genuinely care about them: “Don’t do Valor’!”

You can better results playing FIFA!

the style that dominates the world? Current Men’s European champion
Current Men’s Olympic champion
Current Women’s World Cup champions

You are a grade A clown 🤡

You must have players capable of tika taka style. It doesn't sound to me as if most Valor teams have the players to do it. This is a marketing ploy. Unless you have players capable of playing possession style football you are wasting your time.

From what I know, most Valor teams would do better to rely on physicality and more direct counter attacking play. Possibly catenaccio, set up to play defensively and then counter attack.

You baby boy, baby girl, baby they, sound like the clown. But, you are just the type of clown, i mean customer, they want.

"Spanish style! Well, my oh my! Look at all the championshios Spain has won. I'm in!" Meanwhile , the kids have zero ability, passing and first touch is awful.

"Spanish football" is not a panacea.

you need good coaching who want to compete. They dont. Valor is just expensive rec with more uniforms. CYA mentality killed SYA. And Valor is just CYA rebranded.

Well, there's the insane Scottish guy who screams at little girls.

There's the multitude of completely unqualified parent coaches just there to play their own kid in their desired position the whole game.

There are the several coaches who do private lessons and encourage their team players to pay them extra on the side.

There are several coaches who combine practices for both their teams instead of holding separate practices.

Then there's the coach we had last year who just had the kids scrimmage almost all the time. Got better instruction from a previous rec coach!

I nominate as best businessmen the Valor guys (Paul Ellis, Craig Scott) who also own the for-profit "Soccer Academy" business, that just happens to provide all the camps and overnight camps that all the million Valor teams are required to pay extra to participate in. The camp counselors are clueless high school kids and the campers don't learn anything, but the price is sky high. The camps also use SYA's privately owned fields for FREE when they should be paying to rent them. And they "borrow" CYA's field permits for County turf fields, which should not be allowed. They should be paying for their own fields.

Not sure why community rec leagues and taxpayers are subsidizing these guys' private for profit business.....

Ignorant question: is this not fraud and or emblezzment?

Using the permits for another org is fraudulent, yes.

Its not embezzlement b/c people are willingly forking over their cash.

they also destroyed one of their best age groups which was 07s. Team went from beating DA and MLSnext teams to getting blown out by almost every-team they play. Thats what happens when you put a terrible former CYA coach in charge.

Who are the current parent coaches?

Too many to list, mostly lower tier teams. They don't tell families it will be a parent coach until basically the fall sesson starts, they hold tryouts and claim they are looking for the right coach, string em along, take their money and then a parent coach pops up in August.

There is one head coach of a third team who’s kid plays for him. Let’s stop speaking in hyperboles etc.
