So it's ok for you to shame him because of his looks? Do you even know what a hypocrite you are? |
+100 Well stated. Last Thursday, Kavanaugh was NOT there in his role as a judge. If he were, there would not have been so many questions about his HS parties, his yearbook, and the terms referenced in his yearbook. He was there as a human being wrongly accused. I cannot blame him for showing anger and righteous indignation. |
This post just made me laugh out loud - "not typical Yale behavior"?? Bahahahaha!! You clearly don't know any Yale students or alumni. Or Ivy League in general, for that matter. ![]() |
Because they weren't going to interview her and her lawyers knew it. Nor should they because, as you all keep saying, this isn't a criminal trial. ![]() She can file a report and give them to the local police who have said over and over again they would be glad to help even if the statue of limitations has run out. |
Exactly. She should have sent them the notes. |
lol. The WH has it and select stakeholders have been briefed. There may or may not be sigificant new information. Senators can begin viewing their one copy in the morning. |
Do you not care that he lied about his drinking? About being Bart? About the meaning of boofing and Devil's triangle? About yelling at Senators? About political conspiracy rants? |
I'm kind of hoping Judge is an alcoholic in recovery, and figures telling the truth is a way of making amends to those he wronged.
But his online presence suggests he's a creepy, right-wing bomb thrower. |
Yeah. You really cannot count on Feinstein these days. And, when you reference something in your testimony to the SJC (like your polygraph or therapist notes), it is customary to present those documents to the committee. Correct? Otherwise, she could just be making $hit up. They should have been given to the SJC last Thursday, or before. |
He's a supporter of Gamergate, too. |
I’m about to Blow. Your. Mind. Ready? For those of us who spent three God Awful years studying law and two decades practicing it, and really care about our justice system, this isn’t about winning or “owning” the other side. Kavanaugh would permanently damage the Supreme Court. Not because he makes it more conservative. But because he would make it just another partisan political institution. The federal judiciary is bigger than any one person. And no one person should be able to drag it down. |
If only the federal government had duplication technology. |
Um, Joy Reid? No thanks. ![]() |
You can't have it both ways. If Grassley thinks the therapist's notes and other documents are important enough to request, they should are important enough for the FBI to review as part of its background investigation. It makes no sense that an investigation instigated by Ford's testimony wouldn't include an interview with her. It is clear to everyone that the White House restricted this investigation in order to achieve its desired outcome. |
As a current federal judge he is required to ALWAYS, AT ALL TIMES, to behave in a way that is beyond reproach. Please read the Judicial Code of Conduct.
