Why would this person break into the house?

1. To steal stuff
2. To take someone
3. To kill someone

Are there any other possibilities? In all cases it seems whatever intent, things did not go according to plan in some way.

Also, is it possible that the perp was at the wrong house?

I disagree. Jacket looks right, the backpack he is trying to get rid of looks right (and still stuffed taut), he is carrying it with his left hand, awkward gait....

His gun was set up for a right handed person. I am right handed and I wear my backpack on the left side too. That leaves my dominant right hand available for anything I need to do

How is the video compelling? It was filmed at 1:53am MST and the intruder was filmed at her house around 1:47am. This video is actually more of a perfect alibi for this person than it is incriminating.

Left handed person here. Backpack and all carry is only on my left. The gun arrangement was strange & probably someone not accustomed to firearms. It's possible handedness was not a consideration for him.
