They don't condemn anyone or even take any stance on the video -- it's just bland, corporate CYA.

She has also posted a press release the hospital released, like it's some kind of secret gotcha. It's a press release. It was released to the press. It includes the language they posted to their twitter as well.

Judge is like "if you can confirm you received these emails, please let me know!" Like these are some kind of gotcha. She's become hilarious to me.

I think that letter was sent (May 17) before her attorney came out with the receipts. Which makes it even less interesting.

Correct, it came out before we had more information. My guess is the hospital knew it had to acknowledge the incident to staff but was already alerted by the PA and her lawyer to the greater context and did not want to say anything that committed it to any one narrative until they had more facts.

Will be interesting to see how they follow up -- unlike most entities, they have likely spoken to the PA and the other hospital employee in the video.

So then why is Judge “revealing” this as if it’s something new and shocking? I don’t understand this woman. She’s grasping at straws now.

I don't want this thread to be shut down because I think it's been a valuable conversation, but it also seems like there's nothing new to discuss at the moment so let's not get locked into some pointless back and forth with someone who's just trying to provoke. That way the thread is still here should there be any new developments.

Since the men went into hiding there probably will not have anything new. They'll cover up the rest. The hospital will probably let her return (or they will fire her and the attorney will sue). It doesn't meet the media's needs for clicks. They don't want to hear this woman did nothing wrong, they want to hear she was a horrible white woman who was in the wrong. I'd love to see the police or media find those men and get to the truth.

How do you know that?

Her career is likely over. With her position as a PA you would think she would have been able to navigate the bike situation with more civility.

The majority of sane women are not going to put themselves in harm’s way over something as trivial as fighting over a Citibike. New Yorkers are unpredictable and the bike fiasco could have had a different outcome.

And here it is again. By calling for help she was being "uncivil." By getting on a bike when nobody was there, and then refusing to leave immediately when the guys showed up and reduced her bike with her on it, she was not "sane."

You're an expert in blaming the victim.

Judge is probably making bank on the clicks. She'll need it for the lawsuit that's coming her way.

I was one of the ones who wrongly judged her at first, assuming she did not rent the bike first. lesson learned, BUT I don’t want to make that mistake again with the teens. It still doesn’t add up that a group of teens would re-dock a bike someone was riding on, it just doesn’t make sense. They weren’t ‘stealing’ it, in that they clearly wanted to pay for it, so why did they think it belonged to them? thus far all of our premature speculation has been for no use. If we dox the teens than we are just repeating the mistake of those who doxed her? We just don’t know enough of what happened.

So you wouldn’t give the woman the benefit of doubt but you do to men. Got it. Are you so sexist with everything?

They were just doing the stupid sh¡t that teens do. They were messing with someone to take the bike. Doesn’t seem very far fetched at all.

Why'd they film it, though?

They thought it would be a hilarious clip for all 400 of their followers then it got out of hand. Still really strange that none of them have been identified yet, but they probably closed ranks and are trying to ride it out. Honestly, they pretty much have … only the Monique lady is still bleating on about this, everyone else on the left and the right seems to have moved on to looking for the next outrage du jour.

That's not what teens I know are doing.

They didn't look like teens and teens or not, why give them a free pass for poor behavior. Would you be ok if your teens did that?

Let's put it this way, the ones doing stupid shit record it to show off to their friends and followers. The ones not doing the stupid shit don't.
