But, if there were evidence of foreign interference, it has to be handled through proper channels, strictly by-the-book following protocol and agreements, and investigated by independent, non-political, agencies. Not as part of a political bribe demanding a phony public statement of an investigation for the personal political benefit of the President of the United States in exchange for official U.S. government acts and assistance.
