Yes. MLS Next 1 will be birth year. MLS Next 2 will be seasonal year. Everything below will be seasonal year. Just like everyone else.

What organizing body will they card their players if they are doing something different? What are the other options? They taking boys to ECNL? Why do they need to post publicly when their website shows the leagues they play in and those leagues posted publicly?

MLSNext is their guiding star on the boys side. Don’t be surprised if they keep all the boys team on calendar year 1/1-12/31.

They have not updated anything for next year. Earlier poster broke it down. If they differ in the way the league they plan on handling things, they will explain it in March and April. No regular parents know right now. As others said, they stick to age groups pretty tight so we will see.

MLS next HD has announced they are going by birth year. MLS next two or AD has announced it is sticking with school year. NAL has as well. Since Bethesda plays in those leagues, it is 100% confirmed that that is what they are sticking with. They don’t have to spell it out to you again publicly. They already sent emails to everybody that plays for these teams.

I never got that email but not sure what you are looking for. The details are readily available.

For everybody else, the club has let go of top kids due to differences in opinion with parents on a kids team placement so it is best to do your due diligence and have other offers under your belt if you know being on a specific team is important to you.

Confirmed. Ours was sent in Jan. Pretty generic but it was sent.
