Trump campaign death spiral

Trump's lost the messaging war. He's been trying to win it back with supermarket tabloid style politicking, going with the shock value of saying stupid things. But it isn't resonating with the voters that he most needs to pull in, the independent voters. Independent voters just aren't buying his brand of National Enquirer sound bytes.

It's not surprising. He's an old, and irrelevant man who is going senile on the public stage. And the majority of independent voters are younger with 26% Gen Z (27 and younger) and 36% Millennial (43 and younger). These younger voters are not at all interested in having a man old enough to be their grandfather and clearly showing the mental decline of a nearly octogenarian man making decisions for them. They're not buying what he's selling (bibles, high tops, crypto and watches, in addition to stupid sound bytes).

This.
He’s too unhinged to connect. Also his references are really dated. Like “comrade Kamala” does not resonate with anyone under 60.

And the over 60s don’t want Trump to scam them out of their social security and Medicare.

This should be its own thread. How can anyone support that?

It was no where close to that amount, because you can look at the bleacher behind the dias, and interpolate based on size how many people are on it, and then replliate that measurement across the crowd in the aerial. But hey, if it makes him feel good then so be it. He is preaching to the choir at this point. He isn't getting new voters and he is turning off people on the fence.

Elon Musk is one of the most popular people in the world. To imagine that he will have 0% effect on the election is just cope and is the delusional thinking of someone who just hangs out with UMC white liberals who think Joe Rogan is “problematic,” ie, 5% of the population.

He’s soooo cool, right, PP? Just so achingly awesome and cool, even though he makes women’s skin crawl and even though he has to buy all his friends online, and even though he’s trumping Twitter right into the ground, he’s just the coolest.

This isn’t going to help Trump’s campaign with anyone. The point of campaigning is to energize one’s own voters and to change the minds of the fence sitters. Trump’s sad tuba fart sound campaign isn’t doing that and Elon’s not going to help.

Can you expand on the tuba fart?💨 I missed that.

Is that a real photo??

Yes that’s a real photo of Trump and Elon in Beaver, PA.

Throw it in the bucket with the rest of the GOP’s treason.

Trump is dumb, tired, tiring, and a piece of shit.

But I'm not sure why anyone would call him irrelevant. He may win the WH for a second time.

If President Trump is doing so badly, then why is the race TIED???

It’s Kamala who’s wilting in the spotlight. President Trump is reminding people what happens to his opponents, and they’re falling in line.

Polls are tied because the media wants to keep it a horse race for clicks.

Trump is disintegrating and can barely keep going. His speeches have become so rambling no one is even trying to explain what he means anymore. The only thing coming through is his 1950s racism and sexism and it’s not a good look.

Because there is a basket of deplorables who support russian interests, and hate women and people of color enough to support trump and the MAGA cult.

the 'traditional conservatives" have generally left the party and what is left is the worst of our country

Trump has the same 45-46 percent of angry, greedy, and delusional sociopaths, grifters, and idiots that he has had for 8 years. The anti-Trump voters have always been the majority. Harris just has to turn them out.

Only in the Republican-leaning unreliable polls. If you check out the most highly rated pollsters, they all show a slight lean between 1-5% for Harris. It's all the Rasmussen, Polymarket, RMG, Cygnal type biased and tilting polls that show the race tied or leaning Trump.

Polling the same 46% that has always voted for Trump is not a tied race.
