Yup, typical overreaction.

She also didn’t say all rural areas. She said some people, mostly that live in rural areas don’t have access. Maybe you do, but there are certainly some people living without electrified houses in the US. Pretty sure they might not have a printer either if their house isn’t electrified.

DP. But wouldn’t a local library have electricity and access to a copier?

NP... There are some rural libraries that don't have copiers.

And there are some folks in rural America who live an hour's drive from where there is an available copier.

Bottom line is, if even one person is being disenfranchised, it's a problem.

Some of you never lived outside of cities or suburbia and it shows.

There are a lot of communities in America, particularly out west, where the nearest Kinko's type copy center is 75-100 miles away

Show how much you know.
Kinko's doesn't exist.

Today;s GOP

How is this not a valid thread supported by a "news" organization against the sitting VP of the USA?

+1….Most of you guys are talking about rural affluent Americans not rural poor Americans. Go to rural Tunica, MS. About a 3 miles from the casinos. Lots homes there with no electricity and no indoor plumbing.

Are there places to get drivers' licenses?

This is either sarcasm, or a post by Tina Flournoy.

Well they can go to the casino and ask to borrow a copier.

I’ll be generous and say it’s really good satire.

And yet they are not complaining about being disenfranchised because they are scrappy, resourceful and refuse to be told they are victims unlike the urban poor.
