No one is talking about being on a winning team
They saying Achilles loses a lot, constantly and consistently at all levels and ages.
So something has to be wrong if the players are decent.

Honestly still don’t understand why anyone is fixated on that though. The club continues to exist and players sent to DCU or IDed or wherever. I’m not sure what the point is of pontificating on what’s “wrong” with it.

Dont go to Achilles if you’re not convinced it’s a good environment to develop your kid. Clearly no one sends their kids there because of their win-loss record.

If there’s a legitimate concern about abuse or whatever, file a report with SafeSport or MLSNext or whoever you need to file a claim with.

Can't trust anyone who's okay with the verbal abuse rained on the kids at Achilles by the coaches
It's no secret, so all deniers and liars know it happens.

I’m actually hoping the “abuse” and cut throat environment kills my DS desire to become pro or play in college. Not sure the highs are worth watching your kid willingly put themselves through the grind. But better for someone else to crush his dreams than his parents.

It’s not working yet though. The environment seems to be motivating him more. Oh well, any season I’m sure he’ll break.

If you have a baller who’s confident about his skills and mentally tough and resilient, he’ll be just fine.

Ballers don't get blown out every weekend

KIDS shouldn't have to summon mental toughness and resilience to deal with verbal abuse from their own coach

Are you mentally ill?.... or an abuser?

It's so comforting to know that there is an anonymous internet poster out there thinking about the safety of the kids. A truly impartial hero only concerned with the youth soccer experience of other people's children. Thank you for your service.

That’s what I thought 😆 There’s a vacuum. Where did those boys disperse off to?

Achilles picks up all the kid who can't make the first cut to MLS Next. These kids have skills but just not good enough to make it on their current club's MLS Next team.
Basically, Achille's MLS Next team is an equivalate to another club's second team.
