The BLM movement needs to new name to be accepted by all

Independent police review boards, body cameras, and a national conversation on police brutality. We are so much further along today, on this topic, than we were five years ago. BLM deserves a lot of the credit for that.

A few bad police. You are funny. Policing in this nation has SYSTEMIC problems. So people are saying they need to be systemic solutions systemic reviews of the policies and practices that end up harming citizens both physically and psychologically.
Why someone is against having and arm of our criminal justice system do better is beyond me.

You’re right. But the bad ones are horrific and the good ones tend to turn a blind eye.

That’s the thing, molester teachers get turned in and the victim is protected. The victim isn’t dragged through the mud. The molester isn’t praised and given the benefit of doubt. They are usually convicted.

It took me very little time to find an unarmed white man named Tyler Hays who was shot and killed during a traffic stop in Tennessee on May 19. It didn’t even make national news, however.

Look, I am not arguing that black oriole don’t get killed by police at a higher rate as a percentage of the population. That’s a fact. But for you to mock this and minimize that ALL races are at some point affected by police brutality doesn’t enamor others to your cause.

Police brutality is an issue, ok? But white people don't generally feel they as a group are in particular danger when a white person is assaulted or killed by cops without justification. Second, they are less likely to start with the assumption that the person must have been doing something to justify the shooting.

Are you really that thick headed?

The difference is that they system is built to protect bad police. Bad police officers usually get a slap on the wrist and then go back to work. Or, if they do get fired, usually they're rehired in the next town over so they can keep their pension. They're not put into a national database of bad cops like a sex offender would be.

"Good" cops who cover up for or just turn a blind eye to the bad cops are just as culpable as the bad cops.

If you have 1000 police officers who aren't racist and 10 police officers who are racist, and the 1000 don't call out the 10 and protect society from them? Then you don't have 10 "bad cops." You have 1010 "bad cops."

They are far worse than the police with their violence. How many people have been injured, killed or lost their property or business because of this?

So many protestors have infiltrated these groups to wreak havoc. Have you watched videos of whites looting and spraying BLM on buildings and being called out by blacks because they are getting blamed? If not, do your research.
