- All players whose 2019-2020 Club Fees were paid in full will receive a $185 credit that can be applied towards the 2020-2021 Club Fees.

- All players who paid spring 2020 Team Fees in full for tournaments that were cancelled will receive a refund based on any refunds received from the applicable tournament.

Gunston also confirmed that their leagues (EDP and NCSL) communicated to member clubs last week that they would not be offering any refunds for the cancelled seasons. (But I do think at least NCSL is applying a credit to next season.)

Oh, so basically more than us?

Hey would you look at that, Alexandria is also doing a credit/refund/donation. Who does that leave around us? Arlington? Anybody know about them?

My kid’s LMVSC team received a refund of spring payments already. Our team manager released them a couple of weeks ago after conversation with the coach.

I assume you are referring to team fees. Also at LMVSC and our team manager reached out today regarding the return of unused team fees.

Ooooh awesome. Glad that happened. Anything else in refunds?

Arlington and Alexandria are issuing a $300- $400 credit or refund.

Bethesda and McLean are only offering balances as credit for next year.

If anything, COVID has become an eye opener. The comment is 100% accurate as to what has become of the club:

“I have tried everything, but cannot get my girl engaged in this app. She absolutely hates it.🤨”. Did our fees help purchase that app?

And how is it the club’s fault that the kid isn’t enjoying the app.

Did anybody say it's the club's fault? No... I did see somebody ask a question though on if it cost anything and if it was paid via club fees. Do you want to take the time to answer that?

I have no clue how it was paid for, the comment came off as if it was somehow the club's fault. "he comment is 100% accurate as to what has become of the club:" how else would read it?

Not PP nor the one that posted the link. But could take it as LMVSC used to be an environment which players were excited because they love soccer not a struggle for the player to engage? This is why I’m worried about the academy. It doesn’t cater to the player, it caters to the system. Also, still haven’t seen anything more on this standardization thing.

From what I've seen it does not appear to be a reflection of the players at the club. Maybe it's just the app itself that the player does not like. I don't know the player nor the parent but I don't agree that a player not enjoying the app is a reflection of the player or types of players at the club. My DS doesn't love it or hate the app but he sometimes uses it as a resource to the additional work he does on his own and with his team.
