But basically, Harry was mad at William for doing exactly what Prince Charles did to Diana. Cheating with someone in their close circle, lying to her, publicly (at least among the nobles) - embarrassing her.

The blind gossip one is an April fools joke. Note that at the end he says something about how everything will be clear Monday. He did something similar last year for April fools.
