Unhappy, miserable couples tend to just look...unhappy and miserable unless societal conventions forces them to pretend they love each other. You’ll start to notice couples without kids in the nest don’t care at all after a certain time - separate vacations, multiple lovers, married in name only.

The usual timeline breaks down when you marry a man with such a disbalance of power in the relationship publicly and privately that he doesn’t care.

I mean it’s that or your Prince needs to be checked that’s not Data from Star Trek.

I think he changed after kids.
Sometimes people with traumatic pasts are OK. And once kids come it brings to the forefront anxiety, addiction, escaping, closed off-ness, depression, trust issues.

I know because this happened to me on a small scale, and to my brother as well.

I think he had a mental break a few years ago and an affair is possible.

That's how Harry would be IMHO, not William. William has always had a sense of entitlement, which obviously, he's going to be king one day. His hot-cold with Kate and looking to trade up for so many years doesn't reflect well on him. I also think Rose is attractive in sophisticated, sexy way that Kate isn't. William is a bit of an enigma. He was attracted to the normality of the Middletons' middle-class habits and warmth but he also wants the deference and due from his position. I totally believe Kate was jealous of Meghan and the open affection/love shown by a admiring spouse.

Not hard to pop out, hold hands and chill at a cafe. Kate has been seen more times in the park with all three kids than she has been seen with William outside of an engagement (which is never).

I'm feeling prescient these days. Look who popped up WITH his wife and his kids....for fun. Never seen a photo of William voluntarily (not an engagement, not a photo op) hanging around Kate and kids. He even looks like a dad *shocker* and Kate's wearing the Diana ring!
