I love the way the Queen dresses. She always looks perfectly regal to me. |
The Queen always wears extremely bright colors. Even her pastels are of the bright variety. The reason is that so subjects can easily see her when they are at a distance or there is a crowd. She knows people come to events to see her, and she doesn't want anyone to be disappointed. Her wearing insanely bright clothing makes it easier to spot her and keep her in your vision. She has commented to this fact in interviews, I'm not just making it up. |

I love the yellow outfit! |
You sound deranged. Life must be tough for you if you interpret everything in terms of jealousy and competition, especially with semi-fictional media figures. |
Lol! You sound...lonely. |
I agree. Perfect for her age and role. |
I do too, but I wonder why she always wears a coat outside. Looking at that picture, it seems like either the queen should be hot or Megan should be cold. Maybe QE2 just runs cold? |
She's 92. What nonagenarian do you know goes running out about without a jacket or formal coat? It's especially expected of a woman who is a senior official. |
The cape is fing removable. I just can't - iconic.
|
The Queen is 90. OF COURSE she runs cold! Have you ever known an old person to tell you how "hot" it is???? |
For those wanting the Queen to take her coat off - she did. Alongside another view of Meghan without the Givenchy cape.
|
I agree that she stands out, and I agree that it might be cultural. In which case, I wonder how well received she will be by the Brits. |
They both look beautiful. I hope I can rock my 90s like that! |
Judging by the crowds that cheer her on this weekend - very well.
