I find this information interesting. She seems to have been "one degree"removed from fame for some time. This errand running for the Hilton's, then her time on Martha Stewart's Apprentice before the Housewives show.

She sought fame np vigilantly and long term and with the support of some of the titans of reality T. Fame, the Hiltons, and she found it. Not too surprising. RHBH showed the crossover with he Hilton mom/Aunts and Bethany (without specifiing "babysitter") so this isn't a surprise if you watch real housewives outside NY. Bethany is a fame seeker who got lucky with a business deal. She is sharp tonged but not particularly talented or smart. In the Bravo world of course making s fortune makes you an idol. My guess is that Bethany will not have her fortune long term. Check back I 35years and she is likely to be pounding the pavement for a new shiny something (and agree with an earlier poster that at that point she is likely to be laying lots of blame on her daughter as she does everyone else.)

The problem is WHY does Bethany want to prove something about Luanne. Bethany comes across as a mean girl who always has to be right. She's probably a nightmare to date or be married to. Why attend a party and go off on someone to try and get them to admit something that should make no difference to you?

I used to like Bethany, but not so much now. Now she seems like a tyrant because she has so much money she thinks she is so much better than everyone else. You can be an a$$hole rich person or a nice gracious one and she's obviously the former.

I think she is definitely a Luann by birth/upbringing but a countess by marriage. When I hear Luann, I think of the girl on that cartoon, King of the hill.

Re the last episode and Bethany, I only thought of the saying "only hurt people, hurt people." Bethany must be hurting from her public on-going divorce (why doesn't she just settle and pay the loser, moocher POS off already). Buts he's hurting. she's in a tough place. Wasn't it last season where she just would sneak off and just cry?
