I lived near South Boston one summer in college. I have seen irish catholic teens spit onto the windshield of a black woman's car. She dared to park her car near a southie street and dart into the local Stop n Shop. The behavior OP encounter IS more likely to come from black males in this area. YES, it was a totally racist assault on your property and your dignity. The black woman whose car I saw (when she came out, the boys were gone) could certainly have made the same claim. I despise the thug culture of any race.

You failed to make the connection between racism and the incident. Southie is not Alexandria.

Do you think those punks would have done this if it were a big white man either alone or with a group of his white buddies? Or if the punks were not in a group? No, because they know the guy would fight back. Tough guys picking on a woman with a baby. Their future is bleak.
