Okay. We'll wait. |

This is the issue. The reason insurance payments keep going up, and the reason Biden used temporary credits to keep them low, is because Obama care doesn’t work and has steadily increased the cost of care. I don’t know the solution .. I think healthcare formally adopted as a government service for all Citizens and legal residence is probably the answer. But papering over the failure of Obamacare is not the answer. At all. |
It’s what you do, until you don’t. The Democrats embraced #DefundThePolice until they didn’t. It was a colossally stupid campaign. Now they’re embracing #DefundTheGovernment until they don’t. |
| Give us these things or we will refuse to fund the government. Surprising people think this group is responsible for a government shutdown. |
Okay. Let's see what happens. |
As Mr. Trump and DOGE showed the way -- you don't really have any obligation to use the funds that were allocated or appropriated. It's all absolutely the way we do things now. |
| If the Republicans control the house, senate, courts and presidency why is the government not open? |

Democrat votes. Do you not know how the Senate works? |
Didn't stop the GOP Senators from changing the rules several times already this year. |

Thune: "We've told them we'll have a conversation about some of these things, like the ACA tax credits. Although that in and of itself is another issue that the Democrats created because they put the expiration date in place. They expanded these tax credits."
So, I guess Senator Thune admits the created affordable healthcare and the GOP wants to take it away. |
Do you? They’ve changed the rules and been governing with 51 votes all year. Why is this different? |
No one is papering over it. This is what we have until R's come to the table with a solution other than repeal. Dems would love to make changes to what the status quo is as well. ACA was only ever supposed to be a starting point. Even Obama said that. |
The GOP is clinging to a silly tradition called the filibuster that isn't even in the Constitution. If they ended it the government would open right away. |
