I just appreciate the irony that the whole "F" your feelings crowd who gleefully celebrated Biden's failing health, Paul Pelosi getting beaten with a hammer, ignored their breathern who stampeded Congress with a noose and gallows, pretended like one of their own didn't cosplay as a cop and murder a couple of local politicians, and whose mindset something like 70-65% of mass shooters follows (whose very acts they claim are fabricated by the "deep state") are getting all bent out of shape because some Goebbels wanna be got shot by own of their own.

Hypocrites.

1. Republicans didn't celebrate Biden's failing health. We called it out in an effort to convince the Democrats and the media to see what was right in front of your faces.
2. Tell us about the Republicans who celebrated the Paul Pelosi attack. Name them.
3. The whole J6 riot was roundly condemned by Republicans.
4. The murderer of the MN politicians once worked for Tim Walz and claimed that Tim Walz told him to kill the lawmakers. How is this someone from the right?

And, your referring to Kirk as a "Goebbels wanna be" is outright disgusting, offensive, and nothing can be further from the truth.

One last thing.... you appear to have major anger issues. Get help.

Based on interviews with his roommate and other friends, Vance Luther Boelter, the suspect in the shooting that killed Minnesota lawmaker Melissa Hortman, was a conservative who supported and voted for Donald Trump.
More details on Boelter's political views:
Trump supporter: Boelter's roommate told CBS News that Boelter "was a Trump supporter, voted for Trump," and was happy about the results of the 2024 presidential election. Another friend described him as "right-leaning politically but never fanatical... just strong beliefs".
Anti-abortion views: A longtime friend told CNN that Boelter was strongly opposed to abortion rights, a stance he had vocalized during his time as an evangelical Christian missionary.
Right-wing misinformation: Following the attacks, some right-wing social media accounts falsely portrayed Boelter as a radical leftist, though authorities and those who knew him confirmed his conservative, pro-Trump leanings.

1. Here's a tweet from one of the primary people expressing moral outrage and pulling together lists.

2. Here's a video of the current president (the leader of your party) mocking Paul's beating as his audience laughs.

3. Yeah, that lasted oh so long ... not: https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/01/granting-pardons-and-commutation-of-sentences-for-certain-offenses-relating-to-the-events-at-or-near-the-united-states-capitol-on-january-6-2021/

You killed the man and his ideal of free speech and debate. Gloves are off now.

Wait, I thought people shoot people. There was ONE PERSON who held that gun and pulled the trigger.

What about your anti-abortion guy who murdered the MN senator and her husband and also shot another senator and spouse? Can I blame you for that? Can I blame Charlie Kirk for telling his followers abortion is a holocaust?

You call people who disagree with democrats fascist, and someone who takes you at your word engraves a bullet with "catch this fascist," to kill an outspoken republican, and yes, I blame you and your party for that.

That's actually not true, at least for me (and why are you assuming that I do?). But I definitely notice and at times mention the clear parallels between rhetoric and actions from the Trump universe, the fact that he has had a following among people who call themselves Nazis, Trump's own comment that he wished he had Hitler's generals and that Hitler "did some good things" as reported by Gen Kelly and others, his declared admiration of people like Kim Jung Un, Bolsonaro, Duterte, Putin, his use of words like "vermin" when referring to actual groups of people, and his utter lack of concern for division in US politics as long as he can use that division to his own benefit.

Anyway, you didn't answer my question.

And what did you think about Trump saying the 2nd amendment people could “do something” about Hillary?

Why wasn’t that the end of his candidacy? If the GOP is so pure and civil, why did they keep him as their nominee after that? Or after he encouraged people to beat up hecklers and offered to pay their attorney fees?

If you go through the spreadsheet most of the people “celebrating” simply posted Kirk’s own words replying to posts about his death. Is the Governor of Utah going to be fired too?

DP... WOW. Holy shit. What planet do you live on?

1. There was post after post here going on and on and on about Biden's health, and most of them were completely out of touch, as though he were just drooling on himself unable to function.

2. You all spread disgusting conspiracy theories and everything else mocking Pelosi, saying he was beaten "in a lovers spat with his gay lover" and all kinds of other deranged things that had absolutely zero grounding in reality.

3. J6 was NOT roundly condemned by Republicans other than when they were peddling deranged conspiracy theories that J6 was "antifa" and "feds" - which is when they were screaming and condemning it. But once it turned out that it was NOT "antifa" or "feds" the Republicans didn't even want to have hearings and investigations and fought it and were so disgusting about it that they ended Cheney's political career with the GOP over it.

4. If the guy that killed the Wortmans was such a huge liberal then why was his hit list made up of all Democrats and no Republicans? You DO know that he had a list and he didn't plan on stopping with the Wortmans, right?

Literally EVERYTHING you posted is completely out of whack with reality.

Do better.

How is this not an egregious violation of the First Amendment?

And, for the record, 1) I think all political violence is wrong and hurts us all and 2) I think it is in horrible taste to celebrate ANYONE's murder.

But how can these firings possibly stand in a court of law? This is insane.

All businesses have a code of conduct, and if you bring reputational harm to the company, they don’t have to keep you. Ditto with a person that does not share their values. I wouldn’t feel comfortable working with someone who celebrates the death of another person.

And private companies not have to abide by the first amendment, that is the government only.

So you're legitimizing the policing of speech under the "free speech" banner of Charlie Kirk and are saying people are no longer able to do their own thing on their own time with their own social media accounts. Everything you say or do is owned by someone else. It's not a good look for anyone who claims to be a champion of freedom.

Have you never had a job, a real job, one with a contract and Human Resources department? You absolutely can be fired for conduct that happens on your own free time if the company deems it goes against their code of conduct and will bring reputational harm.

Some of the men who marched in Charlottesville back in 2017 were identified and fired from their jobs. This is the same thing.

Do you think that participating in a white supremacy rally is the same as being fired to doing things like posting a quote of someone’s exact words?

Sounds about white.

You are either very naive, ignorant, or have never worked for a private company, public school system, govt sector, etc. Good luck with saying whatever you want to post on a social media site.

No one said that. This is why everyone thinks that maga is so stupid. You’ve earned your reputation.

I'm not maga at all. I'm telling you that you can't post political feelings/beliefs if you have those types of jobs.

Tenured professors can't? What are "these types of jobs"?
Of course, if you have a Trump admin political appointment job, you can post whatever vicious lie you want.

Tenure exists exactly FOR professors to able to speak freely. Because professors who can’t speak freely, can’t teach.

BTW, Goebbels was the propogandist for Hitler. Seems to have also been Kirk's role for Trump where young people are the audience.

1. Republicans were delighted by indications of Bidens poor health. They ridiculed him and figured it made the election a slam dunk. Trump was extremely angry when he withdrew.
2. I saw a comment in a local newspaper just this week about how Paul Pelosi was "alert and coherent" just after his "boyfriend" clocked him on the head. So I guess they still think it was funny.
3. The riot was roundly condemned for about 5 minutes. Ok, exaggeration. A few days to a few weeks before the backpedalling began. If they condemned it, why did they turn on Cheney and Kitzinger for their participation in the committee? Why, during the impeachment trial, did they not just vote to condemn the action even if they didn't want to find Trump guilty? Why have they not objected strenuously (even though Trump has the privilege) to the pardons?
4. The Minnesota guy did not "work for" Walz. He applied and was accepted to an advisory council of some 46 members of the public to look at workforce development. Such councils are sprinkled throughout state governments. Participants have no power to decide or execute policy. They listen to reports and presentations at quarterly meetings. You do not get asked your political affiliation on these; I was nominated by a republican governor to such a council in the early 2000s and I have never voted Republican in my life.

It sounds like on some level you do want to believe the republican party is populated by decent, responsible people. Obviously you wouldn't post comments like the one about Paul Pelosi I just mentioned. But it's been overrun by the worst kind of people.

Nick Fuentes and others on the right called Charlie Kirk a "fascist" as well.

So go clutch your pearls elsewhere. The call is coming from inside the house.
