Nothing? They only have the most players and revenue of any club in the area. You do realize that’s how clubs are measured. Like any business that relies on paying customers. Wins, college commits, social media vibes only matter as much as they help with marketing but at the end of the day it’s how many paying customers you have and by that measure Loudoun Soccer is king.

Why is it surprising? Many posters have mentioned Arlington has teams 4-5 deep at almost every age group, especially the younger ages. Those players' parents are customers. Customers pay money.

Arlington is the most fool proof soccer operation alive, that is as long as we have a federal government. Lots of Arlington folks maybe moving out Loudoun with Elon in charge now. Maybe this is why there will be three clubs in Loudoun this time next year and all are GA, but only one will have MLSN. I'd say Loudoun is doing just fine.

None are from SYC or TSJ. The top ECNL girls from NVA and FVU should try to make it onto the remainingECNL clubs instead of go GA.

How could SYC not have a single 2009/2010/2011 training center invitation? The self proclaimed best girls club in virginia!

You do realize these "invites" are largely through connections. Big clubs are given an allocation and the club decides who they want to reward with an invite. Talent is only a small piece of it.

Finally, someone that knows the truth. There some 2011s that can't make it through a game without flopping ten times and crying on the field. And they can't score.

Arlington is for the most part at least on the girls side not made of of Feds. Mostly lawyers, doctors, lobbyists, execs. All will still be needed if they knock off 10% of the Feds. Feds are an important part of the DC area but not as important as they were.

Big clubs may be given an allocation but how do you explaint hat it is not even and sometimes clubs gets way more than others and sometimes clubs are shut out?
