If you’re going to defame someone, learn how to spell his last name. |
| GP is ruined. Jeremy and Phil are the best |
| The issue with GP has never been the coaches, it has everything to do with the clients. The order of things is upside down and the results, drivel, and stupidity reflect this in and beyond the pool. What a shame. Oh and don’t forget, this is a business. |
If you knew Phil, you would know that he would laugh at that. He’s that good of a guy. Well played. |
| Tragic mistake by the front office |
|
Phil is an amazing person and I wish him well
Is Jeremy Linn really out? That seems insane |
| No, Jeremy Linn is not leaving, someone is weirdly trolling about that. |
| My kid swims at a different site but knows Phil from the Arizona travel meet. Their reaction to hearing he was leaving GP was I wish Coach Phil would come to our site, that would be awesome. |
It’s a chicken or egg question. Yes, the parents are crazy, but BG basically encourages the craziness (or, at least, plays into it). It was a mostly normal place until about 2016/2017. Then you had total lunatic families come to swim at GP so that their kids could swim for BG (or could some day). |
| If Jeremy Linn is not leaving, then those posts should be removed. |
| He is rejoining the NY Knicks |
This is utter Linsanity. |
😂 well played |
Interesting- I say that with seriousness. I know families who have moved expressly to train with him and I know families that have fled his training due to his personality and overtraining that led to injuries. |
I do think the intensity of the toxic environment took a step up when people started moving to the area to swim for him. But, those were close to the program when he took over post-YS still thought it was bad the years prior to the window listed above. Prep had a stellar reputation before the scandal and YS leaving. |
