NCAP going downhill?

Down to fifth in the USA Swimming National Club Excellence Program rankings. Sinking like a stone.

They were 4th last year and actually had a higher point total this year despite being edged out of 4th, so that wouldn’t really qualify as sinking like a stone, but I’ll give you credit for not just continuing to bump the GP coaches thread.

Thank you so much for clarifying this, coach!

Am I seeing this right? Machine is not on the list? And NOVA dropped to Silver? NOVA has the best field of 9-10 girls, so watch out in future years.

Because your lazy NCAP sucks post was easily fact checked it means it must be a coach? Get some new material.

🙄🙄🙄 NCAP inherited a load of great swimmers who jumped ship from smaller clubs this year. It’ll be fine. But more importantly, at least in VA, it has retained excellent coaches.

NM, I see NOVA of VA in Gold now. It’s an impressive program and they have an amazing training facility inside an old JC Penney. Brilliant repurposing.

NOVAs a great program and the re-purposing of the JC Penney was brilliant. It’s a little jarring the first time you go in though! This weekend is a fun quad meet for the 14 and unders where the 4 best kids in each event for each age for NOVA, LIAC, NCAP and the Jersey Wahoos go head to head. Lots of fast swimming.

This weekend's meet is no longer hosted by NOVA though. Its now an NCAP/PVS meet and is at the Freedom Center in Manassas.

NOVA is hosting a senior meet this weekend. It was in Richmond last year though. For a hot second the meet was supposed to be in Carlisle, PA this year but then it got moved to Freedom Center.
