It's the other way around. MLSN players were given free tuition by a private school. The private school did nothing to develop them for pro level soccer. |

Private schools should take a page out the the ECNL playbook and print up a bunch of MIAA hats for parents to wear.
BTW above is how sarcasm works. |
| omg we are in a loop here. Time to move on folks. |
Oh now the conversation has shifted to this “Oh yeah…but the high school never developed them” Ah ha A bunch of cry babies around here Quick question…So what happens if an MLS Next coach also coaches high school soccer? Does that count as development? Clown show!! |
No it doesn't because MLSN has multiple coaches that all contribute to the initial identification and on-going development of each player. It's like educating a child. |
This would be a good idea for the championship game at least. Nice if they had league sweatshirts also. |
| You people are such losers |
I believe it's spelled looser. |
| I don’t know why high school soccer is even a thing. It’s a complete sht show and you all know it. |
Everyone knows it except the private school parents. It's hard to accept that HS soccer is crap when you're paying 60k a year in tuition. |
Ummm. Many of us know it. And we pay $35k— like most WCAC schools 15-40k |
I really hope the vast majority of people who pay $$ for private school are doing so for advanced academics or other needs of their children and not a sports team. |
PP is sorry that you’re poor. HS is getting better each year and it’ll be funny to see ECNL become moot between HS and MLS next. |
|
Boys ECNL does suck but it's not that bad. |
