So weird to me. In DC, the public and private schools play each other all the time. No big deal. Not sure why it divides people's thinking on this stuff. |
The private schools encourage parents to hold their kids back so they can play against competition that's a year younger. Private schools also recruit the top club players with free tuition so they can always win. It's not that public schools hate private schools. It's that the rules are easily subverted which private schools take full advantage of. |

Because in our area, the difference between kids in public vs private parents is mainly choice. One chose to spend an extra $40K each year, the other didn't. Live on same street in same hood So they know the thinking |
