Let's at least be honest about recent history--the first rocket attack from Hezbollah after October 7th came on October 8th. Israel hadn't even finished assessing the damage from the day before, let alone begun their movement into Gaza at that point. I'm the PP and I used the phrase "recent history" for a reason--the suggestion that Hezbollah's current bombing campaign is in response to Israel's current war in Gaza is simply untrue. Yes, there is history from before that. But that doesn't change the fact that Hezbollah is a terrorist organization that seized upon the chance to jump into the fray less than 24 hours after October 7th happened and not as a response to the campaign in Gaza that began weeks later.

Where are you getting that the campaign in Gaza did not start for weeks?

Israel started to bomb Gaza on October 7. By the end of that day, hundreds of Palestinians had been killed in Gaza by Israeli bombs.

That is a fact and you can look up news coverage of that day of the heavy bombing in Gaza.

The Lebanese doctor went on to dismiss other rumors, confirming NO medical personnel (who tend to carry pagers) were injured.

Let's at least be honest about recent history--the first rocket attack from Hezbollah after October 7th came on October 8th. Israel hadn't even finished assessing the damage from the day before, let alone begun their movement into Gaza at that point. So while I absolutely support a ceasefire, I also will not give Hezbollah some kind of pass for being anything other than a terrorist organization that saw October 7th as the excuse they needed to attack Israel as soon and as often as they could.
