PP here and no - I was not, at all. Keep on reaching. |
Sure, of course she needs comfortable shoes in between wearing heels. How about some Rothy’s or something similar? Chucks just scream unserious. |
I’m Gen X and think the chucks are just fine for the settings she wears them in. |

Team chucks
I just order a pair for myself. |
Right. She’s not a great dresser at all |
Which is perfect. We need a President not a fashion model. |
| Just wanted to point out that Maya Harris had *exactly* the same hair style that Usha Vance had at the RNC - and that some of you claimed was "unkempt" and hanging in her face. |
I’m 51 and totally in favor of wearing the Chucks especially if she’s doing something like flying — this is a tarmac pic I think. |
I actually find Chucks uncomfortable but I think they look good on Kamala and are a practical choice for when she can be more casual. |
I thought maya's hair looked messy and didn't like her pink suit. But also she isn't married to JD Vance so she still wins. |
Her hairstyle was more like Fox News - smoother but still in her eyes. |

I loved Kamala's look tonight -- professional and powerful. I know ya'll hate the fit of her jackets but I think it's working for her -- she's downplaying her figure a bit but it gives her a strong shoulder that photographs extremely well and looks perfect behind a podium. It's context-specific dressing and I think it works.
I like the navy column. With the pants and her heels it makes her look taller and more imposing. It's assertive. I don't know who is doing her styling but they are doing a good job and thinking about it strategically. I'm taking notes. And before you tell me that if it were a man we wouldn't be talking about this -- please google the phrase "looks like a Kennedy" and discover the wide world of men working very very hard to look "presidential" and using fashion and styling to convey power and strength. Fashion is messaging and politics are all about messaging. |
| She looked great, I agree. |
| Big Gretch's dress was fabulous, but she could have used more gel on her edges. |
