Official Kamala Harris VP Thread

The Talking Heads keep talking about how Harris is the only one with enough name recognition to win for the Democrats. But I think her name is incredible Divisive. I think if you nominate someone with a name like Mark Kelly, you can get people on board and listening and recognizing his name in time for November. Plus, they keep talking about how she's raised all this money Insinuating that that somehow means she gets to keep it and the nomination? Bullshit.

However, a Harris / Pritzer or Harris/ Cooper ticket is more likely.

Harris/Whitmer not happening.

Whitmer is smart. It will be much easier for her to be elected after another 4 years of Trump. After being beaten by Trump, Harris will fade into oblivion like all the other ineffective vice president.

Plus she has too much baggage from her association with Biden. I wish another candidate would step up that we can get behind. I really don't like that the first woman president may potentially get there by default. Ugh

Agree...which is why the VP selection is so very important. Maybe Mark Kelly??

I don't know much about Kelly but - Naval service + astronaut+ married to Gaby Giffords (takes gun violence seriously)+ Arizona - I think I'm in for him. it's a good story, people are going to be voting for the story they like best this election so we need that to sell the ticket

Well put and I've seen where he's been referred to as moderate. So that would be quite refreshing.

I've met Mark Kelly. Great guy, but I just feel like he's not the right person. I'm guessing Cooper or Beshear.

Agree. I want a moderate. How best for average Americans to convey their opposition to Harris since we are past the primaries? Citizens reach out to the Dem party?

She’s part of the campaign that raised a ton of money and she has the support of the Democratic convention delegates, which is what makes her get to keep it and the nomination.

If she is the nominee it doesn’t much matter who she picks. Anyone she selects would be crazy to accept. She will drag that person down with her. She is abysmal.

And let me just say that when she loses it won’t be because of “racism” or “misogyny” or any other excuse the liberals will blame it on. It’s because she is horrendous and a failure. And because people don’t want 4 more years of the Biden/Harris policies.

Boy, you’re working hard to spread your lies.
She’s been great and so has Joe.

It’s so funny. Maga losing their minds.

Actually, what would be refreshing is if multiple Dems ran against Harris and held another primary election. I know it's too late, but that would be the best outcome.

Just a silly instinct, but after thinking about it more, i was wrong. He probably is the right guy -great guy, great story, and well liked senator from a key battleground state.
