That's why it's great. Those packaged items are what's causing the health issues

I know. Even carnivore packaged items like beef jerky, bone broth, pastrami, bacon, pork rinds etc have hidden sugars and preservatives

Those aren't actually carnivore items. That's more of a dirty carnivore approach.
Stuck to fatty meats, eggs, real butter, water and salt

I am surprised at how much I like it. The simplicity of never having to figure out what to eat is the best part. Almost always 2 meals per day. One meal of ground beef and eggs and the other meal is a ribeye steak. Some days it's only one meal and I'm never super hungry. I have to remind myself to eat some days. It has been life changing for me

How are you getting enough vitamins, minerals and fiber in your diet?

Fatty meat, eggs and salt have all the vitamins you need. I have never felt better

Bahahahahahahaha
Which vitamins do you think are lacking?

Try the carnivore way if eating. If you feel amazing, keep doing it. If it sucks, stop doing it.
If you look up Dr. Anthony Chaffee, he has the answers to all your questions. There are other doctors too but I feel he is the best

This right here is great advice.

It’s total BS. No, not every scientific study is tainted with money. Do you even know what peer reviewed means? You both know nothing about science. Carnivore diet is a fad and a dangerous one at that. Eat that for 30 years and come back and show us your bloodwork if you’re even alive. FFS

People feel great on carnivore because it's an elimination diet. If you have a mild food allergy or intolerance to something and suddenly eliminate them from your diet, of course you're going to feel better. But the point of an elimination diet is to slowly add back in regular foods so you can pinpoint what you react to. Maybe you'll find out if gluten makes your stomach hurt, or tomatoes make your throat itch. But just sticking to only meat is frankly eating disordered behavior.

For those of you with autoimmune conditions, I wonder if a low histamine diet would be better than carnivore. I have an autoimmune condition called Mast Cell Activation Disorder, and my allergist recommended I eat this way because it eliminates foods that can trigger an overstimulated immune system to activate. A lot of fruits and vegetables like spinach, tomatoes, and bananas are high in histamine, so I wonder if they may contribute to symptom flares in other autoimmune conditions.

Your diet requires you to take daily mental health medications and the carnivore diet is actually getting people off medication. Go ahead and keep trying to convince us that we are wrong. You are hilarious

You sound more and more dumb every time you say that. No, people aren’t curing their depression with steak, you moron. You are too dumb to exist. Stop promoting this idiocy as something healthy. I don’t give a shit if you die eating steak. Just stop telling other people that’s it’s healthy. Because it’s isn’t.

You are the shittiest person for trying to shame people for taking madeication to improve their mental health. I hope you choke on that meat.

OP here. After a 6 month hiatus during which I moved abroad and did not focus on healthy eating, I finally decided yesterday to weigh myself to assess the damage. I’ve gained 5 lbs on my 5’8 frame, which I don’t think is too bad. I’ve decided to restart carnivore for a few months to see what happens. I’m already normal BMI, so weight loss is extremely difficult. Here’s todays plan:

-fast until 2
-eggs, bacon, and cheese for lunch
-salmon for dinner
-plain greek yogurt

Once I get acclimated, this should work like a natural ozempic to suppress appetite.

I would swap out the Greek yogurt for a few ounces of ribeye

How mentally ill are you to come into a thread you hate and start getting angry at people that are trying to better themselves?
Your way is the "right" way and anyone that doesn't follow your rules is a moron? You have a severe personality disorder that you need to seek help for
