I assume you are talking about Hayfield and West Po here...

I have no idea. Was this a round robin? Can someone just list the scores?

Hayfield v. Yorktown
Hayfield v. WestPo
WestPo v. Yorktown

Basically a tie. I went with my son and he said Riverside was down 2 starting defensemen (who he has played with in club) and their fogo did not play either. Injury bug has seem to hit them early. Does not bode well for their upcoming match-up against Madison.

Battlefield parent here. Great lacrosse last night. I felt like both teams looked good and ready to go. Battlefield goalie was very good, and will be a difference maker for them this year. From my count I had Riverside winning 11-9. The rain made things a bit sloppy, but all and all a good night of lacrosse. Looking forward to the start of the season.

Yorktown beat hayfield 4-3
Yorktown beat westpo 10-1
No clue what Westpo Hayfield score was but I will say it looked like hayfield played this scrimmage as if it were more of a real game, by this I mean lack of subs and not really testing out any other players besides starters whereas Yorktown and Westpo were constantly rotating

Thank you. Anyone have a Robinson/Westfield report?

Robinson up 9-3 at half. Finished 14-5. Robo pulled all starters a few minutes into q3. Scoring spread around pretty evenly. WF was very athletic and aggressive. They will compete with some good teams.

I was at the games and they didn't score 10 goals...maybe 5 or 6.

Is Fairfax not making NFHS streamed games free for in-county games anymore?

despite weather Warhawks looked good for early March, anticipate will be playing a lot better in May. They let some get by them they should not have, but looked good overall.

Realize LB is a lot different this year, with the loss of their talented 23 class, they were not bad however.

Interesting. Maybe LB is still #2 in Region C. Doesn't seem like there is anyone who can push Robinson.

Agree Robo is clear #1, Yorktown is close #2, this year in VHSL. Too deep and well coached. No idea on LB, they don't have much after last year as they were carried by their star commits, so would not put then in #2. West Po likely #2 in Region C?

Madison is the clear number one and Robinson is number two. Yorktown is probably number three for now. WestPo reportedly lost to Yorktown 10-1 last night. Hayfield lost to Yorktown 4 to 3. There’s no way WestPo can be number two in Region C.

Don't sleep on Langley and McLean in the Liberty.

Langley looks really strong. No one is saying how McLean did against Potomac. I guess McLean has West Potomac tomorrow night. I’m assuming they should win that pretty easily.

As everyone else said, despite the Yorktown hayfield score being close it did seem as if they played it more like a real game then scrimmage, that being because of lack of subs. Whereas Yorktown was rotating what was very noticeable 3s and 4s
