I'm trying to remember, was the City Center area or the Conrad grounds (or both) the old convention center? |
I suspect Mr. Leonsis has a handle on where his season ticket holders live. I hope the Mayor enjoyed Dubai. |
I remember City Center as being that huge surface lot with Avis and Thrifty cars. |
City Center is the old convention center. |

I guess not all the YIMBYS want it in their back yard. Imagine that.
“7News also received a statement from YIMBYs of Northern Virginia which stated, "Our leadership team expects to be officially neutral on any arena development proposal at Potomac Yard. We would hope that any such project would include abundant housing, and avoid an excessive level of private vehicle storage.” |

| ^ if there were media stories @ Potomac Yards talks a MONTH ago how were they caught so flat footed today? They are so unprofessional and inept. |

Shame on the Mayor. First and foremost the police are only concentrated at the main entrances if the area when they should be scattered around the surrounding area where patrons park. Sounds like a quick fix that should have been addressed months (years) ago.
How does 200 cars get broken into on an event night; crazytown. |

| Clown show every damn day. |

DC is dirty, crime-ridden, and run by a bunch of corrupt/incompetent politicians.
If you’re mad about the move, apply pressure on your local DC politicians (that you probably voted for) to clean the place up and crack down on crime. The Caps/Wizards leaving is a symptom of DC’s rot. |
