The ward I lived in was reduced to a wasteland in the late 60's. So no, that's more hyberbole.

I think the shooting victim is still alive? So, assault with a deadly weapon at 3 pm, then shooters ran across Forest Hills playground = "incident" in Frumin speak. The choice of language is striking. And pitched to not inform anyone who has not heard. He never sent anything out to his wider list, only tweeted.

Of course it is being investigated, someone was SHOT in the stomach. Criminal acts that are deliberate and between parties known to one another are still CRIMES.

Loitering laws are enforceable. There are pan handlers parked all day on the commercial strips.

The only thing that has “spiked” is Frumin’s interest in the issue which he is clearly uncomfortable with because it challenges his progressive view of the world. The elderly residents have suffered for three years under the voucher program. Now young families and small business owners and employees are rightly afraid for their safety. Frumin’s stance on the voucher issue is untenable.

Suggest the livestream info be circulated to his newsletter list, too.

His flavor of "activist" is bike lanes and pickleball, nothing that is not fluff. His comments about HF are not well informed. The emails shared on ND and posted upthread do not inspire confidence at all.
