Yes, obviously. The ridiculousness of taking a 3 yr old and a 1 yr old out to breakfast just days after filing for divorce, when you are an extremely public person and you know paparazzi will be there (let's get real, Joe's PR tipped them off), is too much. I feel really bad for those kids and I hope if he does go nuclear on Sophie in the custody determination, that her lawyer pulls this out as evidence of how he is using his very young children to score points in the press. It's disgusting.

He must know either: (1) any assessment of who was actually "home with the kids" for the last 4 years is going to go very badly for him, or (2) he's eff'd up in some other way that is going to make the custody battle difficult for him. If he was really a "wronged man" he wouldn't need to get up to all these shenanigans, the spin would take care of itself.

If something bad is coming out that would cause Sophie to divorce him, then this "strike first" approach is probably a defensive play to get the court to stop her from taking the kids out of the country.
