I believe healthy adults should be independent, and model that for children ( of both genders). Dads can be better parents and moms can learn to support themselves. Equality.

(Not to say one adult should not stay home when kids are little/there are lots of kids). But full grown adults entering the world with no way to support themselves is not a strong plan.

I prefer to work in an office, but I also don't want to "force" others to do this. I own my own company and I gave my staff the option, and they did say they wanted to have the option to come in or not as their schedule allowed. So I got an office (our lease ran out during the pandemic) and no one came in at all lol. So I gave up the lease again. PERSONALLY I hate working from home. I hate not having a separation from my work life and my home life. But I agree it's weird to press that on others.

You sound like a great boss! I hope you're saving lots of money on the lease and furniture to make up for you having to work at home against your preference.

You want society to evolve... by going back into 20th century office buildings without flexibility? Get a dictionary, you don't know the meaning of evolve.

WFH should take a pay cut. If I have to pay gas, for a car, insurance, car maintenance, can't run errand while I "WFH" or take a nap then yes, WFH people should take a pay cut.
