I find it fascinating that the standard is 'not a public figure running for office', yet thread after thread of Don Jr, Jared and Ivanka remain up and open on this board. The double standards of DCUM continue to amaze me.

What the NY Post obtained was apparently a hard drive, not a laptop. Or, more likely, a copy of a copy of a copy of a hard drive. What was shown to be legitimate were a few emails. The entire drive was not proven to be legitimate and, to the contrary, was shown to have been tampered with. Keeping in mind that Burisma was known to have been hacked, the "laptop" data could very well have come from that.

At any rate, I removed the block on Hunter after he was charged.

After you folks spent years accusing Hillary Clinton of every crime under the sun, including murder, and sitting through countless Congressional investigations of her that came up empty, one would hope that you would realize that you are being manipulated. Instead, you simply prove that there is no hope for you guys. You want to be fooled and willingly, accept the myths that are spun for you.

Have you suffered head trauma? Kushner and Ivanka were appointed to government positions and served in the White House. Don Jr. held and position in his Dad's campaign and is very politically active. Moreover, all of them, with the possible exception of Kushner, are involved in legal actions due to their roles in the Trump Organization.

I applaud your careful choice of words. The FBI may have verified that the laptop that they have is Hunter's but they have not publicly (or privately that I am aware) confirmed that the data has not been tampered with. Again, some emails were proven authentic. Whether a laptop was the actual source of the emails, rather than the Burisma hack, is another issue. Moreover, the laptops contained considerable other data beyond the emails that media sources have not confirmed as accurate. Hunter claims to have no memory of the various laptops and, as such, cannot confirm or deny the authenticity of the data.

The many laptop, hard drives, copies all originated from a computer repair guy John Paul Mac Isaac who supposedly broke encryption and sold all the information on the computer. How can anyone think the data on those laptops is real? The source is a criminal. All reviews of the data has found massive problems with it- ie it is fake.

The laptop has been described as “ have been tampered with”, "a mess" and "a disaster" from a forensic standpoint by the two analysts, contains emails marked to and from Hunter Biden, "key pieces of evidence useful in discovering tampering were not available.", analysis found that people other than Hunter Biden had created six new folders on the drive over a week, etc.

The computer store owner copied the hard drives before giving them to the FBI. As a result, there is no way to know how the versions of the hard drive analyzed by media outlets compare to the version the FBI has. You rely on the Washington Post so let's see what they say:

Exactly. There is a huge chain-of-custody issue that wouldn't hold up in any court of law, plus forensic evidence that files were added and altered long after it was no longer in Biden's possession.

The block on "Hunter Biden" has been there for over a year - well past the time we knew that the NYPost story about the laptop was accurate.
I can understand him believing 51 former Intelligence officials when they wrote a letter - without ANY evidence - that the laptop was disinformation. A lot of people believed them because they used their titles to convince Americans of their "theory."
But, the block remained on until just recently.

You are vastly overstating what has been proven about the laptop. In fact, calling it a "laptop" is not even accurate since multiple laptops were involved. What the NY Post obtained was apparently a hard drive, not a laptop. Or, more likely, a copy of a copy of a copy of a hard drive. What was shown to be legitimate were a few emails. The entire drive was not proven to be legitimate and, to the contrary, was shown to have been tampered with. Keeping in mind that Burisma was known to have been hacked, the "laptop" data could very well have come from that.

At any rate, I removed the block on Hunter after he was charged.

After you folks spent years accusing Hillary Clinton of every crime under the sun, including murder, and sitting through countless Congressional investigations of her that came up empty, one would hope that you would realize that you are being manipulated. You are correct that what the NYPost saw was the contents of the hard drive. And, much of (if not all) the published contents of that hard drive were verified by recipients of emails long ago. Interesting that Hunter, himself, never claimed that any of the contents published was false.

No there is no verified Biden laptop. The many laptop, hard drives, copies all originated from a computer repair guy John Paul Mac Isaac who supposedly broke encryption and sold all the information on the computer. How can anyone think the data on those laptops is real? The source is a criminal. All reviews of the data has found massive problems with it- ie it is fake.

The laptop has been described as “ have been tampered with”, "a mess" and "a disaster" from a forensic standpoint by the two analysts, contains emails marked to and from Hunter Biden, "key pieces of evidence useful in discovering tampering were not available.", analysis found that people other than Hunter Biden had created six new folders on the drive over a week, etc.

Exactly. There is a huge chain-of-custody issue that wouldn't hold up in any court of law, plus forensic evidence that files were added and altered long after it was no longer in Biden's possession.

There are very conclusive ways to track individual emails and ways to corroborate.
