Many people (used to) trust the government, especially the Intelligence agencies and “career” governmental specialists. We’ve learned better but it took us a second.

In the 2019 fiscal year, when Hunter Biden purchased his gun, federal prosecutors prosecuted less then 1% of people who lied on ATF Form 4473. Biden lied about illegal drug use which would not show up in a background check of an ATF Form 4473. 4473 is run against National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) which only picks up disclose a felony conviction. Biden’s son was singled out because trump wanted him prosecuted. I’m going to start by saying Jeff and I do NOT get along politically, but I will defend him to the hilt in some cases, and this is one of those cases. Jeff probably took the block off when credible news sources came forward with information. He will often block conversation about someone if the information is not deemed credible. Does he tend towards bias in this regard? Yes, I feel he does, but that’s human nature and frankly, it is his site.

He also has to worry about lawsuits, etc, as someone who runs a business, so while I get frustrated at what he considers a credible source, I get where he’s coming from.

I can understand him believing 51 former Intelligence officials when they wrote a letter - without ANY evidence - that the laptop was disinformation. A lot of people believed them because they used their titles to convince Americans of their "theory."

You are vastly overstating what has been proven about the laptop. In fact, calling it a "laptop" is not even accurate since multiple laptops were involved. What the NY Post obtained was apparently a hard drive, not a laptop. Or, more likely, a copy of a copy of a copy of a hard drive. What was shown to be legitimate were a few emails. The entire drive was not proven to be legitimate and, to the contrary, was shown to have been tampered with. Keeping in mind that Burisma was known to have been hacked, the "laptop" data could very well have come from that.

At any rate, I removed the block on Hunter after he was charged.

After you folks spent years accusing Hillary Clinton of every crime under the sun, including murder, and sitting through countless Congressional investigations of her that came up empty, one would hope that you would realize that you are being manipulated. Instead, you simply prove that there is no hope for you guys. You want to be fooled and willingly, accept the myths that are spun for you.
