Scorned woman strikes again - Yoga teacher murders the 'other' woman in Austin

Three women and girls are killed by their domestic partners or a male in their family every day in the United States. Thousands more are beaten, raped, or seriously injured. A lot of those killings and beatings are driven by jealousy, sexual motives, and domestic rage.

And yet, when once or twice every few years a women murders someone in a jealous rage, it’s “another scorned women,” “striking again.”

It isn't once or twice a year. Women kill their children in the US almost (~300 annually) every day and over 2000 US murders in 2022 were perpetrated by women.

Yes men kill more and are also far more likely to be killed, but women certainly kill quite often as well. It is multiple times a day, not once or twice a year.

I followed this case pretty closely. the victims family have a powerful statement that referenced Colin’s partial responsibility without naming him. It was along the lines of honestly and integrity in relationships are important and how dishonestly can lead to unintended consequences. I am glad they indirectly called him out. But yes, he will be married with a baby in Colorado or Vermont or some other hippie rural state in 3 years.
