Thanks for posting, she’s amazing.

I was surprised that with the ridiculous detail they went into about some things that they didn’t ask any details about Shane & Natalie dating after the show and why it went wrong again. Although, Shane looked like he could not handle one more question. So weird how he responded about Shaina too, but then didn’t explain. She just said they had never been involved, but sure seemed like more to it. I saw Shaina make a comment on IG saying that she couldn’t say more because of an NDA. Interesting.

Also, seemed like a lot more to Sal & Mallory, but they didn’t pursue that either.

Shake wasn’t even worth responding too since he is so over the top pathetic. Vanessa played right into his drama with her response. I thought Nick handled it all well, although no one would have blamed him for beating the crap out of Shake for his disrespectful comments about Vanessa.

What could there be that the show doesn't want revealed? You'd think they want all the drama out there.

Maybe I’m naive but this show actually seems a bit better than others. They didn’t show that (there are some threads on Reddit that say, it was just more of the “she’s not attractive to me” but meaner than was shown). They also didn’t show the fight with Natalie and Shayne, which seems like it would have made for “good tv” but also was hurtful or maybe got out of hand, given how Natalie responded.

DId anyone else find Vanessa Lachey's outburst ridiculous and unprofessional?

Also...come ON. Of course people are attracted to looks. I get it that the show is supposed to be different, yet somehow all the couples were matched in an aesthetic sense and nobody was overweight. Interesting.

I thought it was horrible the show used the one overweight woman for clear fat phobic references then cut any real participation. Offensive.

The cameras are not with them 24/7. The fight was over the phone, when they were apart. Probably late the night before the wedding.

The couples were supposed to separate the night before the wedding. Shane was drunk and still upset about the baseball thing and not being able to hit well. Then he went back to where Natalie was and the fight happened without cameras present. That’s why they were trying desperately to get them both to rehash it the day of the wedding, the producers knew they’d missed it.

I recall seeing at least two larger women in the pods. (I do think there is fault to be found for the lack of fat men. I saw one slightly heavier Indian guy, and the rest were sized Average-to-Roid City (Shayne).) And can we really fault the show if the overweight women didn't make it to the next stages? Show me a story about one of the plus sized women getting engaged and the show not selecting them for filming, and then I'll agree with you.

Remember at the reunion when Shake called out Shaina for saying yes to Kyle just to “continue in with the show” and everyone was saying you’re the only one who thinks that! And shake was like people at home are thinking it too, and they all insisted he was the only one, but we were all thinking that’s why Shaina said yes, right?

I think she wasn't attracted to Kyle, physically. I think she was hiding behind the "being a Christian is SO important to me" because she did things I certainly don't associate at ALL with being a good Christian. She takes a lot of pride in her looks, and being physically admired. My guess is she thought she was coming off great and wanted to continue that. Highly doubt she realized how awful she came across during the filming, but realized it after the show aired and she could see herself, based on how much crow she ate at the reunion.

SO true. When he proposed, you could see the wheels turning in her head, weighing the risk of looking like a bad Christian if she accepted vs. becoming a non-entity on the show if she didn't get engaged. And when she saw him, you could see her recoil at his touch, only allowing him to get one surprise kiss in before she took several steps back. I think if she thought he was hot, she would've stuck with him and played up the drama of having an inter-faith relationship.

(Still not sure why she dragged him to see her MAGA family. That was just mean.)

So you all agree with Shake that she said yes to stay relevant on the show?

My heart broke a little during the reunion when he basically asked Shaina "Did you not like how I look?"
BTW, Shaina addressed her squinting on Instagram and said it's because she wears contacts. Um, I wear contacts. I don't squint unless it's sunny out.

Yes. It was 100% clear she didn't find him physically appealing. She was just smart enough to avoid being branded another Shake by saying it out loud.
