Love is Blind - Season 2

Is anyone else watching this train wreck? I did a search for a thread and didn’t find any, but please direct me there if I missed it.

Season 2 is crazy! I don’t see how any of these couples are going to work out.

Spoilers ahead…

Deepti and Shake - I hated him immediately, but now strangely find myself rooting for him like a mom or big sister. C’mon Shake, you can grow into a decent person! Try not to be so superficial! Please, try! Deepti deserves a nice man.

Iyanna and Jarette - I wanted to like him. I truly did. But Iyanna, run and protect your heart because he’s shady!

Shayne and Natalie - I have no kind words for this man-child. He wants to joke until he suddenly flips a switch and then gets pissed when you didn’t notice the switch. Natalie already has whiplash.

Kyle and Shaina - Dude, run! Run far, far away. She’s in it for Shayne, which is horrifying.

Sal and Mallory - Just no. That’s all.

Nick and Danielle - She needs to be on meds and he hinted that she needs to get rid of her cat. Doomed!

I haven’t been paying attention and didn’t realize the new season was out! I know what I’ll be watching this week!

Sadly I don’t think Shake will change and if I were Deepti, I would be pretty hurt and horrified by the things he said about not being attracted to her. Which is crazy since she is way out of his league. He is making it like he is some prize. Gross.

Shane is so strange and I can’t figure out what Natalie sees in him.

When did SHake say he wasn't attracted to her? I've been watching and missed that somehow.

He's shady, but I think she's a hot mess of issues.

Why Iyanna would settle for second choice is beyond me.

This season is a hot mess. Last season I had high hopes for all but one of the couples. This time I struggle to see any of them working out at this point. And there are some insanely obnoxious people. Shake, Shaina etc. Deepti is an idiot to ignore the giant blaring flags.

I read somewhere that two other couples (I think both white) also got engaged in the pods but didn't get followed (similar to season 1).

Deepti and Shake - They really tried hard to redeem him. I feel bad for her. I hope she's turns it down a notch. Maybe there's still hope?

Iyanna and Jarette - I like them! He's not perfect (Mallory) but they seem good together. Of course there's also that sneak peek of her getting into the limo with her wedding dress.

Shayne and Natalie - I don't understand what anyone seems in him. But at least from the editing he and Shaina seem like a better match. I think he's makes a valid point about Natalie always joking about their relationship though - what's up with that.

Kyle and Shaina - Yikes, she's this season's Jessica! And poor Kyle is like Mark. Although she seems a little Amber-esque.

Sal and Mallory - I wanted to like Mallory, but not after the honeymoon. I feel bad for Sal though he may be a little too sensitive.

Nick and Danielle - This pair seems like a recipe for co-dependency though I like how they tried to talk things out. But really, she way overreacted.

So many red flags and toxic dynamics. I wish they had a few “healthy-ish” couples to root for. I think the only relatively normal people are Sal and Natalie but they are paired with the wrong people. Because the other couples on S1 got a huge social media following, I can’t help but think that is the primary motivation for most of them to stick it out.

Yes, I think that’s exactly why Shaina is there — she kept talking about being an influencer.

I was literally watching like “nooooooo!” She is so cute and seems like such a sweet girl.

But honestly not surprised she settled for second. She has had so much rejection from people who are supposed to love and care for her since such a young age.
