The ballots are printed and people have already voted.

The Post story said 2,325 people had voted in the ward already in person, and 16,000 had voted by mail citywide. Let's say 1/8 of the city is in Ward 3. So that's 4300 Ward 3 voters who have voted. There are 84,000 people in Ward 3. Still a lot of voting to do.

This is a primary election and not the general. 10,000 people voted in the primary in 2018. So a third of the Ward 3 vote has probably already been cast.

Bergmann has dropped out per his Twitter feed. He backs Frumin and, interestingly, made a case for Monash as well, for those who might be considering Goulet. He seems to really hate Goulet.

I read his statement, and a lot of the verbiage is familiar. Makes me wonder if he or someone on his team is the relentless anti-Goulet poster on these boards. The negativity has been incredibly off-putting.

Yes it has. But it seems that the toxic anti-Goulet energy is more likely an offshoot of a certain YIMBY types you see on Twitter who come here for an orchestrated campaign.

I don't think she dislikes Matt at all, she is probably just upset that Tricia (her preferred candidate) decided to drop out, maybe even without consulting her first. Frumin, Cheh, and Duncan, all had pretty similar policies.
