Of course he's angry with himself -but instead of managing it in a healthy and productive way he felt entitled to a racist, abusive tirade against a bunch of kids. He's a class A *sshole. |
But he ordered a smoothie that has peanut butter in it and said hold the PB..... |
Retirement isn't all about numbers...most successful people struggle a lot with identity in retirement and finding purpose. That's why we hired the therapist. Shes a professional in that space; not me or my team. |

I haven't seen a single post in 17 pages from a parent to a kid with a nut allergy who hasn't laid blame on the dad, and for good reason.

He's been fired and charged with a hate crime.

James's son got two epipen injections and still fell unconscious, so they called 911 and he was hospitalized. Many of these posters aren't reading. It was after the stabilization at the hospital that he went back to the store to ask who made the smoothie, to speak to a manager, to get corporate's number, to use the phone, etc. I am not condoning his behavior, but many posters are straight up LYING about him complaining before getting care for his son, saying he doesn't believe an allergy exists while owning TWO epipens, etc. Say what you want about his consequences, but please don't lie about the facts to fit your narrative. Also, please don't be racist yourself when implying Italians aren't allowed to be xenophobic, only the English are. Please don't leave out the employee calling him a piece of $h1t as well and no in anyway addressing a life-or-death situation. Information is important had there been fruit cyanide, etc in it as well. There was an incident years ago another place when a whole bunch of young children dies from yucca cookies that were ill-prepared. Fairfield deserves to know what kind of experience they would get. |
Clearly you’re a friend of his here on his behalf to attempt to defend him. He’s an a$$. You are condoning him. Stop. It’s not a good look. |
He’s a crap parent for thinking a smoothie where he only specified to “hold the peanut butter” was safe for his child to eat. He’s a crap parent for not checking the smoothie himself. He’s a crap human being for coming back to scream at a bunch of teenagers and he’s a major POS for throwing shit and using terrible language. I’m happy he got fired and his life is ruined. |
| You know it’s not the first time he’s done something like this. Nobody just suddenly becomes a raging a-hole like that “this one time” |

Apparently the son that was hospitalized is the same age as the girls he accosted in the smoothie shop.
I bet his son would never have to get a job in high school but if he had - he'd be furious at someone throwing a drinking at him and calling him a stupid immigrant loser. Just terrible. |
| Wow, a teen kid. He can make his own smoothie. |
Facepalm. My DC1 has a peanut reading of 85 and hold the PB means NOTHING. I bet this guy has never been to any allergist appointments and has no clue how to protect his son. They DID hold the PB, he didn't say anything about a deadly allergy or instruct them to use different utensils. I don't expect restaurant workers to read my mind. And again, his son was in the hospital for hours, so instead of spending time with him, he goes back to harass the workers. I bet it's his wife's job to stay with the kid in the hospital. Of course. |
My friend's son is allergic to peanuts and they even bought their own cooking oil to my house when they stayed over because they did not want to inconvenience me about not using peanut oil. That is the level of care that needs to go in. My DC has friends who are peanut allegic and I am not allowed to give him PBJ sandwich because he eats at the same table as them. My DC is scared that there can be cross contamination. Do we all remember the girl who died because her BF kissed her after having had a PBJ sandwich? Father was very negligent but he wanted to push the blame on these girls. And trying to break open the door where these girls were huddled? That is psycho behavior. What would have happened if he had come in where the girls were? Would he have hit them? Raped them? Killed them? What was his rationale for doing what he did? I can even understand throwing the drink down, or throwing the drink on the girl to some extent, BUT, trying to break down the door to the area where the girls were standing was very scary. Dig deep into this man. My guess is that he has done some terrible things to people. This kind of aggression is of a person who has got away doing this to others. |
Right now, there are M.Lynch employees who are doing a happy dance and are supremely joyful that this POS has been fired!!

Sorry you married an asshat. We can't help you. (And those children died in the Philippines, not from Robek in CT) |
