Guy should be angry with himself. He ordered a smoothie online from a place with peanuts that is staffed with teenagers. Be a better parent and make smoothies at home for your child with a severe allergy. Or at the very least be present at the store when it’s made so you can see the ingredients.
But he ordered a smoothie that has peanut butter in it and said hold the PB.....
Facepalm. My DC1 has a peanut reading of 85 and hold the PB means NOTHING. I bet this guy has never been to any allergist appointments and has no clue how to protect his son. They DID hold the PB, he didn't say anything about a deadly allergy or instruct them to use different utensils. I don't expect restaurant workers to read my mind. And again, his son was in the hospital for hours, so instead of spending time with him, he goes back to harass the workers. I bet it's his wife's job to stay with the kid in the hospital. Of course.
My friend's son is allergic to peanuts and they even bought their own cooking oil to my house when they stayed over because they did not want to inconvenience me about not using peanut oil. That is the level of care that needs to go in. My DC has friends who are peanut allegic and I am not allowed to give him PBJ sandwich because he eats at the same table as them. My DC is scared that there can be cross contamination. Do we all remember the girl who died because her BF kissed her after having had a PBJ sandwich? Father was very negligent but he wanted to push the blame on these girls. And trying to break open the door where these girls were huddled? That is psycho behavior. What would have happened if he had come in where the girls were? Would he have hit them? Raped them? Killed them? What was his rationale for doing what he did? I can even understand throwing the drink down, or throwing the drink on the girl to some extent, BUT, trying to break down the door to the area where the girls were standing was very scary. Dig deep into this man. My guess is that he has done some terrible things to people. This kind of aggression is of a person who has got away doing this to others.
