I don’t live in the agricultural reserve and I would oppose this also. But, our politicians don’t care. This is about PUBLIC SAFETY. They have to keep the filthy, unvaccinated constituents out of the bars and restaurants for everyone’s SAFETY!! |
| Vaccine passport = closing the barn door after the horse has fled, AND then burning the barn down |
It’s just posturing without substance, which seems to be what this council does best. |
Agreed |
Vaccine passports are a dishonest effort to make people “feel” safer” based on outdated science which originally thought the vaccines prevented transmission, which they do not. |
Montgomery County health officials have Ben ignoring science since the beginning of this pandemic. They kept our schools closed for over a year, while other districts got their kids back in school safely. They closed down OUTDOOR playgrounds early on, when we knew that this virus was transmitted via aerosol, and therefore unlikely to be transmitted outdoors. They closed down outdoor sports, and even now prohibit spectators at outdoor high school sports. Given the blatant disregard for science shown by our health officials, I have no doubt they will embrace the idea of a vaccine passport, unfortunately. |
| Vaccine passports = Jim Crow 2.0. African Americans have one of the lowest rates of vaccination. If you want to go back to whites-only restaurants, just admit it and stop with the "passports" nonsense. |
THIS. |
And instead, you’ll be getting infected from vaccinated+boosted people. Because that’s how I got infected. Me, and nearly everyone else I know. We were all vaccinated, and all infected by other vaccinated people. What are your thoughts about this? |
Good for you!! I will stay here and happily support my local restaurants |
I think the viral load is smaller if a vaccinated person is spreading the virus |
Well said
|
Yeah, that’s not Newley enough if a reason to pass a vaccine passport/mandate. Especially when it would cover 6-year-olds beginning March 1. |
Can you post a study that verifies this is true? I have not heard this. Might be misinformation. |

This has been implemented where I live (elsewhere in the country) and here is a list of places my 6 year old boy can't go:
Any restaurant Any museum (and he has been asking to see dinosaur bones) Bowling Roller skating Any musical event (he has been asking to go to a big band show) I have not yet told him the reason we can't go anywhere anymore. Yeah, I know what you're going to say. Just give in. He is a little boy in perfect health, not an adult. This shouldn't be about giving in to make our lives convenient. It should be about health. |
