Better than Columbia College

I don't think Penn State sounds like a better school.

Penn is just much richer than Columbia, and I've seen several kids choose Penn A&S over CC

Are you a school employee? How do you know so many kids?

Penn is definitely NOT > Columbia. No one except Penn boosters believe that.

Penn>Columbia. Not a Penn booster, just a Columbia basher!

Definitely a whole lot more racists on Penn's campus for sure.

As a counselor, you really do have a lot of free time.

That most people still think Penn = Penn State is quite explanatory in itself...

Columbia College. Which one? Chicago, Missouri, South Carolina, Hollywood or New York? I must be missing a few….

Why did so many Columbia bashers appear all of a sudden on dcum?

Because they're mostly unemployed and have nothing better to do.

I have affiliations with neither school. People know Columbia University. Unlike the University of Pennsylvania, which is often associated with a state school.

DS had friends who went there. A&S students have some massive inferiority complex to Wharton. Joke still goes that there are three kinds of students at Penn: "those who attend Wharton, those who want to transfer into Wharton, and those who want to marry a Wharton grad."

The general public doesn't associate Columbia University with any of the ones you mentioned. A search of Columbia University in popular culture generates tons of references and even an entire list of popular culture references - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columbia_University_in_popular_culture

The fact that you have to look up four separate and obscure Columbia Colleges on wikipedia to prove your point goes to show your despair and insecurity. Try to do better though!

True. And Penn A&S simply is the weakest of its kind within the Ivy League.

Penn in the '80s was considered dead last within the Ivy League. Its rise is fairly recent, all things considered. Very impressive school now.

Brown is the “fun” Ivy and there is a reason it is ranked #6.

Uh... "fun" has zero relation to how good a school is. If that were the case, ASU would be a top 10 university.
