Fake news. They lost one bench player to Loudoun. I won't go into any more details...

FCV 08s are the most improved team GA/ECNL team in the '20-'21 season. Before CoVid, the top FCV team was losing to VSA, VYS, PWSI, Coppermine, and Great Falls (Metro). I mentioned the 07s because it relates directly to our 08 team. We have been told a few of 08s playing up will be moved back on age due to the expected additions to the 07.

Keep hatin'! You gonna learn in '21-'22.

And this is why I don't like that there are so many leagues even at the 'elite' level. FCV doesn't field a team in 08G for NCSL so there's not much to go on in terms of looking at their program there. And can't compare them in ECNL because they participate in GA. In an ideal world for regions you would think they would have regional standard leagues like NCSL, then maybe a higher more talented group like ECNL-R, and finally at the top league similar to ECNL/GA with a promotion/relegation between ALL of them.

I find it really hard to believe that those 08s starting in 07 for a few years now are going to come down. Especially if the 08s are the most improved team already. Why do they need them? Does that mean the 09s currently on the 08 FCV team are also going down? Also doubtful.

Who's the bench player that left FCV? Sounds like she wont help Loundon anyway

FCV promotion team in full swing during tryout season. Don’t be fooled into thinking GA is a competitive league

GA is absolute trash! Regular 10-0 score lines lol FCV parents are just pissed ECNL isn’t allowing them to join again 😏

FCV couldn’t compete in NCSL

No dog in this fight but BRYC is struggle. Do you think ECNL would not take FCV over BRYC at this point? It’s been a crazy year or two in youth soccer. Once ECNL is done with the initial expansion they will cut some clubs and add others. ECNL has all the power and is not shy about using it. They ant the money and the money is in the tops area clubs. They will just demote them club to ECNL-r and say do well down there and you could be promoted if you do well!

The mid Atlantic member clubs have to agree to admit any new clubs. They’ll not be voting to let FCV join... BRYC and other poor performers wouldn’t be stupid enough to vote against their interests. Arlington barely squeaked by the official voting!

Nice attitude, a really valuable contribution...
- Would you say that to the PP's face?...fail on acceptance.
- Would you let your DD read your post?...fail on kindness.
- Who would the starters practice with and develop bonds with?...fail on encouragement.
- Who would sub for injuries, for rest, for a better physical match-up?...fail on vitality.
Sounds like you won't help this community with inclusion, compassion, or competitive spirit, anyway.

As much a BRYC is the ECNL doormat they have boys teams, and FCV doesn't it sounds like. So, no, ECNL wouldn't take FCV.

Just wait and see Loudoun getting the boot at the end of 21-22. I stocked up on popcorn!

DP. She is a very good player with a lot of potential. Unfortunately, I don’t think she or the parents will find what they are looking for at Loudoun. I think the parents have the right ideas in terms what they are looking, but finding good development, especially on the girls side, is like finding good skiing in the Caribbean.
