I would go back and listen to her testimony: Ford, 51, said in her opening statement at the public hearing, “I had never told the details to anyone until May 2012, during a couple’s counseling session. The reason this came up in counseling is that my husband [Russell Ford] and I had completed an extensive remodel of our home, and I insisted on a second front door, an idea that he and others disagreed with and could not understand.” She continued, “In explaining why I wanted to have a second front door, I described the assault in detail. I recall saying that the boy who assaulted me could someday be on the U.S. Supreme Court and spoke a bit about his background. My husband recalls that I named my attacker as Brett Kavanaugh.” The door was added in 2008. Came up in marriage counseling in 2012. So she's saying that in 2008 she explained the attack and reason for the second front door to her husband and he still rejected the idea and could not understand and it needed to be drug up in marriage counseling four years later? What? And once again, the second front door was part of a garage to apartment conversion to host google interns, to give them a private entrance. WTF does that have to do with fear? |
The Hill is reporting that the WH is limiting the FBI to looking into just the Dr Ford and Deborah Ramirez allegations. In addition the FBI can only talk to witnesses on a list approved by the WH Counsel. What kind of FBI investigation is this? The second condition is stupid

Not one who lied about his service. |
You sound ridiculous. Perjured himself with regard to slang? |
Not sure why, but he was "vague" about whether or not he served in Vietnam. https://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/18/nyregion/18blumenthal.html |
So. The FBI doesn't really like the White House right now because of all the nice things Trump said about the FBI this year. Yet the FBI is supposed to conduct an investigation within the constraints of the White House. I'm thinking there might be some liberties taken with the impositions of the White House. |
No, with regard to lying. But I guess it's NBD nowadays. |
Clarence Thomas: my hearing was really bad.
Brett: Hold my beers. |
He can’t. It’s still perjury. He’s claiming spicy food led to ralphing as drinking did. He said Devil’s Triangle was quarters, and that’s enormous bullshit. Boofing, Renate. If the FBI asks ANY guilty-feeling asshole “Alumnius,” it’s perjury. And it IS perjury and even Renate knows it! (Now). Hell, he even perjured himself as he wept over his “65” supporters when Renate had already made a statement after realizing they shamed her! |
Love your plural, lady. Ha! |
It does seem a bit presumptuous and cocky of Sen. Blumenthal to be sitting in judgment of anyone else's truthfulness. |
How can you be so sure about the lying about the slang? Do you know for a certainty that "boof" had that meaning in 1982? Please cite source. |
Yep, investigating the third accuser seems a bit pointless given her record: https://www.oregonlive.com/silicon-forest/index.ssf/2018/09/julie_swetnick_one_of_kavanaug.html Obviously an accuser with sterling credentials! ![]() |
Whitehouse was the Senator that tipped of the media as to the false rape/Newport RI/Boat accusation that came to him through a member of the Justice Dept, who's now being investigated himself. |
You're conveniently ignoring other accounts that corroborate hers, from Rasor and from classmates. |
