War with Iran

Yes Spain. But you forgot Ireland and Norway. The original 3 EU countries to call Gaza a genocide and recognize the state of Palestine. These are the multiple choice answers our grandkids will get on history exams.

Hegseth press conference…sheesh!

How did such a dude-bro become SecDef? Between the too cool military jargon and lingo- “force multiplier, lethality, warrior ethos…,” and the fact that I KNOW he drives a lifted Jeep, with Yeti stickers and drinks Black Riffle coffee, Hegseth is a caricature of what MAGA thinks is military cool.

Listening to Hegseth speak now. 2 questions. Why does the phrasing/sentence structure of all these cult members, when describing govt actions, sound like the ones that North Koreans use? Like irrationally inserting and attributing Trump for things he had no direct hand in. "Thank you dear leader, your wisdom made the rain come down and now we will have a bountiful harvest."

And why do military bases exist? Hegseth is bragging that all the bases were emptied and the people that were in them are basically cowering in locations where the missiles can't reach them. So are bases just a really expensive target practice range for your enemies to blow things up?

He thinks using military jargon/lingo makes himself sound legit/cool, but it comes across as so cringey.

“Cringey!” That’s the word! My daughter cringes when I use the word- apparently it’s out, but that is Hegseth- cringey!

You can substitute corny for cringy. He's trying too hard, and he comes across as a complete cornball.

God he’s such an insufferable loser. Can’t wait until he’s fired.

Hegseth: We have hit 2000 tagets and sunk 20 naval vessels.

Translation: We just wasted $200M and extended the war another 5 weeks.

Must be a false flag or Mossad infiltration. Turkiye has been defending Iran.

Most likely. Israel is committing false flags against other gulf countries with several mossad already being arrested. And don't forget the false flag shooter with the "property of Allah" hoody and Iran emblem.

Department of War and its warfighters (instead of 'soldiers' since forever). Just so corny.

Thousands in Iran Attend Burial of Children Killed in Bombing of School
There were students attending classes at the time that the school was destroyed. Some 175 people were killed by the attack on the girls’ elementary school.

Why are you surprised. Bombing schools is part of what Israel does. See Gaza as an example. Who knows what target is next. Maybe some hospitals in Tehran?

OMFG, if we have to endure being lied to our faces about non-existent “command centers” under hospitals and schools in Iran now, I’m going to lose my mind.

To the contrary, there's been very little coverage at all of this, in my opinion. In the New York Times, it was buried a few stories in, under the lede of "Frantic efforts to evacuate as War widens in middle east."
Its readers don't want to read about Israel pushing America to bomb a school-full of elementary school girls to smithereens.

All the stories are about American's being stuck in countries and needing to evacuate, 6 American troops dying. Very little on the hundreds of children getting killed. Similar to the coverage of the war in Gaza.

I haven't seen the story below at all in mainstream media.

Over 18 civilians, mostly teenage girls, were killed on Saturday in Iran when a neighborhood gym they were practicing in was struck in the bombing campaign:
