No coaching. They literally have zero offense. Multiple missed opportunities. Shots from 15 feet away right into goalie’s stick. Blown man up opportunity. Blown break away one-on-ones. Overwhelmed by ride. Bad passes. Soft shots, bad shots, you name it. Zero offense.

Five star is not living up to his reputation. Multiple missed shots and dropped balls. Nonentity in game.

Army fogo and Michigan defender tried hard, but offense blew it for them over and over again. They don’t utilize their tools, and they have lots of them. Can’t clear to save their lives. Terrible passes. Terrible ground balls. Low confidence and bad decision making.

Coaching Failure. Embarrassing.

I have to agree on product and cause. Prep has kids who can definitely play but wow did they look disorganized and ugly as a unit. Landon had a really good settled offense, good passing rhythms and just overall polish, played like a tightly knit crew. Orchestra vs jug band. That’s definitely down to coaching.

Seems like Landon has been playing pretty well from the start. Not sure they’d even need half of their multipsort athletes coming from winter sports to beat St Johns. Might as well put St Johns on as the first game for the Bears as a warmup next season lol

Historically Landon, GP, and STA have played the Stags on a routine basis.

Lastly, GZ is getting healthy at the right time. I fully expect them to take it to SJC on Friday night.

At this point I’d expect anyone to crush SJC….

On a day they won a game most on this thread predicted they would lose? I'm not following.

WCAC playoffs just got a lot more interesting with GZ performance yesterday over Ryken.

I thought the Cadets would have man handled GC yesterday.

Betting favorites to win the WCAC ship are DM, GC, GZ and SJC.

Landon is in a league of their own this year in the IAC. A rematch with Bullis seems to be very likely.

1. Landon

2. Bullis

3. DeMatha
4. SJC
5. GC

Exactly.

There is big gap between the top teams in the IAC vs the top teams from the WCAC.

The WCAC is extremely well balanced this Spring with 4 - 6 teams capable of beating one another.

Bullis beat DeMatha by 1
Landon beat Gonzaga by 1

Huge gap??

It’s a huge gap if you include the hypothetical games.

Pick up the phone Wes!

Never seen a program that continues to ride the coattails from a team that played 3 years ago.

Landon eyeball test clearly the strongest team. Might have more national recognition if their schedule wasn't so soft.

When's the last time a Landon team played as many WCAC (Gonzaga) teams as MAC (St. James). More area publics (SP and Riverside) than WCAC.

Landon is ranked #15.

An overtime loss to national powerhouse Haverford is preventing them from being undefeated.

And please let’s not act as if the WCAC is some powerhouse lax conference these days - this is not football or hoops.

Good Counsel needed overtime to beat St Albans for crying out loud. Prep had their with the Falcons 10 days ago. Prep took over the game in the 2nd half.

Landon could have won yesterday by 12+
Never seen a landon - prep game where you can hear the landon coaches telling their players to spin the ball around and “no shots”

Riverside sucks , I’ll give you that. Waste of a game for the Bears.

Severna Park is good. As is Hereford and Towson from Baltimore county.

Lol Wes will pick up the phone and will say yes lets play but it will need to be early in the season before conference games and the IAC coaches will say thanks but no thanks for whatever reason. IYKYK!

I dunno. Landon played a Philly power and should have won, last year's WCAC champ, the historically best MD public, historically very good VA public, the #1 team in Florida and probably the #3 team in Florida and the IAC. If you put any faith in Inside Lacrosse schedule ratings, they have a better rating than SJC.
