Sounds like her and Seema are basically the same-two people myopically focused on what they can get for Centreville HS at everyone else's expense. |
| She’d be better than Dixit. Of that there can be no doubt. But I wouldn’t get my hopes up that she’d change a thing that stands to empty out Westfield, and those decisions will already have been made by the time of the next School Board election in the fall of 2027. |
| As the liberty PTA president and SB candidate, has she been fighting to keep the apartment kids in the new Bull Run island from being moved from Liberty/CVHS to Stone/Westfield? If not, she's the same self-serving hypocrite as Seema. |
The second post on her "sully for sully" instagram page supports Walney Village staying at Chantilly HS (this is most of the Cub Run split feeder that goes to CHS). Insulting all the Sully families who attend Westfield is an interesting political strategy. But surprisingly, ZERO posts in support of keeping the low income Liberty/CVHS families proposed to be moved to WF(when she is the PTA president and is supposed to represent all the families at her school). I don't see how she is better or worse than Dixit. |

I don't live in that area but at this point, I'm pretty disgusted on behalf of the Westfield community. No FCPS staff or politicians seem the least bit concerned with that school. Every other high school seems to have someone in their corner (or a politician in their pocket $$). At least Meren-though ineffective and kind of pathetic-is trying to help SLHS.
Huge political blunder to try to run for the Sully district school board and denigrate the half of Centreville that attends Westfield by posting a sob story on Walney Village's behalf (its on her FB and insta). Her facebook also has a post about the need for Centreville High's renovation and how the students deserve better than an "overcrowded" school. Seems a lot more fiscally responsible to move kids over to Westfield's empty seats then expand a school with 2000 kids to 3000 seats. She is complaining that Centreville HS has been "passed over"-that's incorrect. It was built in 1998 so this is its correct spot in the renovation queue, and its probably in better shape then much older buildings that have only had small renovations. |
| CVHS renovation has been on new business on the agenda since may |
It needs to be seriously reconsidered and scaled back substantially given all the empty seats being left at Westfield and South Lakes by FCPS. |
|
The plans need to be reworked and scaled back significantly given the cost of KAA and all the existing open seats not being filled in that area.
A modest renovation focused on updating essential systems is just fine. If they can add a few seats without it costing a penny more, great. If not: unnecessary expense. |
If this is true, please call her out. |
If its true? Its on her facebook and instagram pages, look for yourself. |
So she posted across her SM supporting the only middle class neighborhood proposed to be moved to Westfield saying that they should get to stay at Chantilly. She did not post *anything* supporting keeping Liberty/Centreville's low income apartments at Liberty/Centreville even though those kids are currently part of her school's community. Draw your own conclusion on that one. I'm 100% in favor of people running against the current crop of useless SB members, but it doesn't help if they are just as self-serving and craven as the current useless people. |
Especially when your current SB member helpfully relocated most of your low income kids elsewhere! Beautiful new building, low Farms rate, great for property values.

Where was she answering questions? I couldn't find it. |
Yikes.
