What 2011 teams are qualifying this year??

I think we can all agree that FVU needs a third thread for all of its drama. Not really interested in reading 30 pages on how CW and DB ruined a season for the 11s. They should take that discussion to the angry 10s discussion or a whole new thread. Feel for the girls and that guest player goalie. Hopefully the parents huddle up with each-other maybe w ecnl and figure out how to get made whole again. But i doubt that happens now that some parents were placated today with an ID session. Well played CW.

Now onto the cup battle. I think VDA brings the energy and makes a deep run. Bumped the mighty Richmond to number three and has Arlington’s #.

Exciting times ahead for the girls.

Well CW has a track record of coaching many of our girls 2 years ago and all was calm and organized with good communication. This year has been pure chaos.

There were a few defending him due to his life situation at the time such as just getting married, having a kid, the commute etc but now everyone is seeing a pattern of behavior unfortunately.

True but how many situations will hold equal blame? Going on your 4th club in less than 2 years? You dont have to buy it but you have to acknowledge it.

The 4th club in 2 years sounds bad without the details. He was with McLean/Union for many years with CW, BL, NM and ML. He tried one year with NVA after NVA had their best year mainly because of NS. NS left NVA and the club went to sh$t and then they decided to go GA which is worse than sh$t. So then DB went back to what he thought was going to be Union with CW, BL, NM and ML. Three out of the four names listed were out right after he signed up and then he found out MV was the director. So yeah sounds bad but it is completely logical to want to move to anywhere else cause everywhere else is more stable.

Nice try. If he thought the three other coaches were still going to be there, he wouldn’t have had a team to coach. He came after it was known that those coaches were leaving.

So it is your position that DB went to union knowing BL, NM, and ML were out because he wanted to work with MV? hahahahaha.

Obviously to work with his mentor CW. But why the obsession with MV? Daughter didn’t make the Brave/Union merger? Coach that got pushed out? Let it go. It’s not healthy to live this way.

They have to get through Charlotte first and Arlington has to battle Courage but should be good matches all around. Hopefully both VA teams come out on top.

We thought well maybe that was an NVA problem and he'd be different when he got here, but we were sadly mistaken.

I never said I was unwilling to leave, I was saying to act like DB isn't to blame in this situation and it was all just unfortunate timing or bad luck for him was laughable

i imagine some kids were called up today and their parents are happy and dug in (mind u there were plenty of other equally talented kids on that roster that could have gone head scratcher on that), some parents are flat out scared that their DD cant make another ECNL club and don't want to gamble on it, the rest maybe Stockholm syndrome? Carpools? Kids starting? A certain player left and they see opportunity for DD to shine? Imposter’s syndrome? Fear? Pick your poison. They (some) will be willing to put up with another season of it Including “front office” dropping balls. Pun intended. With a smile and grinding teeth

Why are you all staying when club actions say we want you to leave (besides the whole tryouts/id sessions thing that has yet to happen).

Isn’t ideal for some of yall but it is a walk on starter option. Like its complaint after complaint in the FB/chatterverse. Those id sessions must have a chilling effect.

Please if u must continue knocking down DB explain why you are staying? Or at least want to stay? On the outside We see no improvements coming and its not like they will buy a club out for a facility.

Blame for what? The loss against VDA. Does he set the club schedule or pick the showcases?
