Congrats to President Trump for nominating BK and then sticking by him through it all .... and for giving one of the better speeches he has given.

Congrats to Susan Collins for the brilliant rationale she offered for supporting his confirmation.

Thanks to Joe Manchin for having the courage to go against his party and support his nomination.

Finally, congrats to Mitch McConnell for masterfully managing the nomination to the point of confirmation.

Amen to all of that.

Kavanaugh gave a great speech tonight. Made me even more sure that he is the right person and that justice prevailed.

I agree. He will serve honorably on SCOTUS.
And to the person that thinks there is only one pro-Trump person posting.....Wow. #Clueless

NP here.

Disagree it was very partisan. It’s the first time in the history of the US that a supreme court justice named and thanked the members of one political party for getting him his votes and getting him through. Very partisan.

He thanked every single republican senator in the judiciary. Partisan much?

She knows exactly what happened during the assault and she knows exactly who assaulted her. Millions of Americans know it too including many in powerful positions that cynically could care less. That vile behavior gets a pass. We deserve what we get from him.

Teach your kids to protect themselves as no one else will step up to help.

The poster above asked you what made her accusation credible. Your answer was "she knows." That doesn't answer the question. What evidence does she have, other than her say-so? The witnesses she named to collaborate the story did not, and there were inconsistencies and changes in her story (most notably the date of the attack - from late 80s to early 80s).

There will never be any proof for this or or for most other sexual assaults. That is why 99 percent of all the people committing these acts are walking around among us and our families all day.

This is a he said she said situation like most. The evasive lies and sniveling partisan performance were as bad as the assault anyway. But there he sits on scotus. Shame on us.

We will see what happens to Collins. If she betrayed her constituents, she will be removed.

And the first time in history that one political party said they would "do whatever it takes" to block a The president's nominee, before even knowing who it would be, and voted in opposition with only one brave exception. Plenty of conservatives voted for Kagan and Sotomayor. Let's not delude ourselves into thinking the Democrats are anything but hyper-partisan.

Because every single democratic senator, except one, voted against him. Partisan much?

Are you talking about Ford's evasive lies? Like who paid for her scam of a polygraph? Or her two front doors? Or her fear of flying?

When it comes down to a he said, she said - or more accurately, an accused and an accused - the accuser has to make her case beyond "just believe me."

I am a Democrat who didn't think Ford's case was going to be strong enoigh because they didn't haul in Mike Judge to testify.

But Brett's hissy fit showed what an entitled brat he is
And blaming the Clintons? He showed what a sniveling frat boy he is at heart. I hop the 3 female Supremes kick his a** daily on the court.

Ok ok. You love your fake choir boy. We all know so many like him. There are legit conservative choir boys out there. Picking one of them would have been so much better for us all.

Should Leahy have voted for someone who used his stolen memos and lied about it? Please address.

What you think of “evasive lies” are easily explained. Like when her lawyer leaned over and said, “we paid for the polygraph. As is typical.”

If only the White House hadn’t hamstrung the FBI investigation. But they just didn’t want the senators to have, on paper, proof that Brett attempted to rape Dr. Ford. I wonder what Judge said.

It’s also typical to fear flying and still fly. How is this still a con talking point?

The whole circle-jerk ceremony (since he was already sworn in a few days prior) was disgusting display of corruption and lack of ethics. So repugnant.

Please, if he was a liberal judge and spoke that partisan Republicans would have already started the process to remove him from the bench. He is a bitter political hack.

Circle jerk is the perfect description of the GOP right now!
